Re: Internationals: Germany, Argentine, Spain, France, Portugal
M'Vila is 21 and is nowhere near a finished product Z. The point is that he's the youngest of all the top midfielders by 2-3 years at least. That does a couple of things for us: 1) He has 2 years to compete and doesn't need to be the undisputed starter immediately and 2) he has a very high ceiling.
Today, he's not one of the best midfielders other than the defensive portion where he is absolutely fantastic. But he's smart, has a great work ethic and is showing continued progress with rounding out his game.
That's the exciting part... he has the mental and physical makeup to be great.

I dont see necessity of Mvilla when he isnt that much of a step up from khedira overall.
Re: Internationals: Germany, Argentine, Spain, France, Portugal
It's not for today that you sign him peeps. You keep both Khedira and him... it's when Alonso slows down (will happen in the next 2-3 years). M'Vila-Sahin pairing is what you're planning for down the line.

what about khedira in the future?
you guys want to reformulate the whole attack and midfield in 3 years lol
edit:2 years since were almost in 2012

Madrid will never just rely on 2 midfielders... they will have competition between 3-4 of them at all times. Once Alonso ages, you have the trio of Khedira, Sahin and M'Vila. They all bring very different things to the pitch.

thats not very good for chemistry, specially when the midfielders arent the only ones rotating

Yup,both mivlla and khedira will not accept a bench role in the future lol
Im not really comfortable with this over use of internationals and avoiding spanish players btw,its not like spanish players arent good enough, infact they are currently the best along with german players. We have always been a international squad but we always had 3-5 spanish players in our starting 11 in the past.

Khedira is already pretty much rotating... he gets injured fairly often and Lass is preferred to him when defense is needed (which is strange because Lass is really at his worst right now).

Re: Internationals: Germany, Argentine, Spain, France, Portugal
M'Vila got injured. Nothing serious. He was playing a good half.
Benzema doing his usual. Problem with France is that midfielders are scared because they're new to the team... They are playing not to screw up as opposed to trying to win the job. So ribery and benzema are left to come up with moments of genius.
Benz went down clutching his knee and I was about to take my baseball bat and go to Belgium.
Defensively, reveillere/rami/sakho/abidal are unplayable. Belgium can do nothing. Abidal is eating hazard for lunch.

Nothing. Abidal is killing him. Can't get one dribble past him. Only time he saw anything was when he got past sakho and it wasn't even that dangerous. France is too good defensively for Belgium... They have no chance unless it's a free kick.

Current France NT = Italy NT of the 90s. Play great defense and wait for an error. If no error, take the 0-0. Boring as hell. Glad Madrid is playing and no more internationals.

Re: Internationals: Germany, Argentine, Spain, France, Portugal
Messi is kinda slow, very untypical of him
On topic, Ozil raped Netherlands ( a goal and assist) along with Muller in attack. Khedira had a one on one rate of 95% :lol!:
CR7 is still fighting but he is very active, scored a goal
Iker gifted a goal practically

Not bad for an average midfielder.

He did and was meh -... There's no cohesion in the midfield and the attack as we play a different lineup every game. We don't have a AM solution. Everyone has either been very average or flat out failed. So we're relying on an ultra-organized defense and moments of genius from our forwards. No buildup. No real offensive system. Very boring.

Costa Rica up 2-0 against Spain in 2nd half... what the heck is going on there ffs!
Portugal up 3-1- against a 1-man Bosnia. CR7 owning in that one.
Italy beaten by Uruguay 1-0
Argentina losing again lol.

Cristiano lead his team to a thumping victory. We avoided a troll fest there lol. The man stepped up for his country. Kudos.
Spain used to be kings of friendlies and choked on the big stage. Seems it's the opposite now lol
Uruguay are legit. Top team and Tabarez deserves credit for what he is doing there.
Argentina dodged a bullet but when you have so many quality players in attack they're bound to get a chance to a win a game.
