Should we make Lampard captain?

Untill these racist claims are sorted out. It would put us in a better light.

I have never seen Lampard put a foot wrong so it eould be a good move for the fans.

John would still be the leader on the pitch though.

I know JT is a born leader but Lamps can handle the off field stuff while john leads on the field.

We have always gotten bad press since Roman took over and with all the sackings...I also don't see the need to have 'good' press...

Lampard is not the leader Terry is. Terry is and always will be the captain, I could care less if he f'ed someone's ex bird or if lip reading is enough to prove him guilty of racism.... He's a leader we'll probably never have again in a long while...Lamps is just too quiet

If you're suggesting this move would help the club or Terry you are very wrong. Could you imagine what the press would do if they find out Terry has been stripped of Chelsea captaincy? Look what they did when that happened with England and we still hear about it. Now they'd be able to gloat on the fact that Terry was a racist, as that would definitely imply that. The media just want to pick up something bad on Chelsea, they would have done it with or without Terry. You'll hear endless things being said about him and the club, and that would distract the squad forever and cause severe problems in the dressing room.
