Why didn't we take Carrick? :facepalm:

Does exactly the same job as Barry, only better. He is the best passer of the ball that he have. What are we going to do now? Play 4-4-1-1 with Barry and Parker in the middle with Gerrard in front? :facepalm: Or maybe he'll play Young behind the striker and Gerrard and Parker in the middle.

I don't blame Hodgson for not bringing Carrick, because it was Carrick who decided he didn't want to be a reserve. Had he decided to join the bakcup squad, he'd be in the full squad by now. So it's his own fault, really.

I'm not really all that upset by this. I don't think it'll have much of an effect on how our tournament will go.
