These stats are missing the average ground covered by each player during a match; also seeing their average position during matches would help in deciding how efficient they really are. If Baines is always up front and playing like a winger, then it's inevitable that he'll make more chances than someone like Taylor who would be defending more (for example)

Still, this is a nice set of statistics. Shows how Cole is steadily starting to decline. I have no doubt that his statistics from the past seasons have been better.

Baines is a league above everyone else, offensively. I can't wait till Santos and Gibbs play 10 league games to see how they compare to him. They have a different style of attacking though.

Sucks that we didn't get Enrique, but I have faith in Wenger's choice.
Looking at Baines' stats though, you can tell that Everton won't be staying at the bottom of the league for long. He is creating so many chances, but he just isn't getting the assists. Nobody is putting them in.

Statistics don't lie Jewel. You can go ahead and watch all of the Chelsea matches and count everything Cole has done for yourself, but you won't get any different results.

And i asked you to decide, I just laid out what has happened in the first ten games .. Cole is nowhere .. I can't help it..

How about the level of opposition cole was against? How much midfield cover he had? What his level of form was? I can go on all day

I have said for months that Enrique is the best LB in the league and these stats back it up.....

He's miles ahead of Cole now..... heck even R.Taylor has been better than Cole ffs.

How he doesnt play for Spain is beyond me.

Cole is still the best left back.
