We play Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in the league on 20 November.
Some 10 days from that and we return there for our League Cup game.
If we were to lose one and win the other, which one would you rather win?

Leauge....easy
direct Rivals for a top 4 spot.
It's basically a six pointer.(exaggeration lol)
As I said before , the leauge cup couldn't mean less to me.

Being so close to winning a trophy just wins it for me.....Going to Semi's would be huge.....And the league is played through 38 games not one.....so losing one wouldn't hurt as much. And to be honest I see us fighting more with arsenal and Spurs for 4th. (If it was one of these two i would choose to win the league game)

One game at a time and I feel there's a 50/50 chance for both.
AvB's defence has been atrocious at times, and if we could finish (same goes for them) then it's up for grabs for either team.

I agree that the league points are more important but winning any trophy is also important we don't want to turn into a club that belittles competitions.

as much as id like Liverpool to win A trophy, League is more important, and more important to get into the champions league spot

Cup game.Even if we lose in the game we still have plenty of time to catch up with other Top 4 rivals but i desperately love a silverware this season.

I think this season is about nothing but the Barclay's Premier League. Sure, a cup run and even a trophy would be very nice, but still... We need to get back into top 4 before anything else.

The season would be so much better if we finish with a trophy and 4th place......I still stand by what i said earlier.....From all of the games we played, we were the better team, only Tottenham outplayed us. I'm not worried to be honest.

preferably top 3 so we don't need to go through the qualifying stage, but yes you're right.
