Juve told Rossi is not for sale

Villarreal have dismissed suggestions that Juventus already have a deal to sign Giuseppe Rossi as a replacement for Alex Del Piero.

This will be the captain’s final season as a player in Turin and whispers have already started to circulate with regards to who could step into his boots.

“We have no intention of letting Rossi go,” Villarreal director general Jose Manuel Llaneza told TMW on Friday.

“We’re very happy with what the player is doing this season, but his excellent form is not a surprise to us.

“A move to Juventus? There is nothing being discussed with anyone. Giuseppe is staying with us at Villarreal.”

The Old Lady did try to sign the Italian international in the summer, but the Spanish club rejected a reported offer of €24m.

Juve, who also missed out on Atletico Madrid’s Sergio Aguero before he moved to Manchester City, signed Mirko Vucinic from Roma for €15m instead.

Marotta had his chance. He blew it [when does he not ?] and now Rossi has improved.

Firstly, Rossi and Giovinco are not the same kind of player. Secondly, who is better for the price that Rossi goes for ? Another baseless post with no evidence.

1) Amauri is not even riding the bench, he's not even part of the squad anymore
2) Toni has not been called up once, and is not a support striker
3) The point of bringing Rossi is to take his place as someone needs to take his spot(No Im not saying Rossi is better)
4) Quagliarella is not an ideal support striker.
5) Odd, you mention Amauri over Iaquinta.

Leave the guy alone. He said Chiellini has no tactical brain and he should be sold and Juventus should buy Hummels instead.
