NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
I don't get the hate on him. He does his job, and recently is really improving his overall game. While I'm still angry about the whole Mr X Champions false promises, I'm glad Galliani managed to pull his transfer of. He really can be our new Gattuso.

Re: NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
THANK YOU!!!! I was incredibly happy to see we signed him, he isn't the creative genius we all were expecting, but he is that tireless workhorse the new Gattuso that we desperately needed.

Re: NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
with respect to nocerino, we will see whether he becomes player worthy of milan by the end of the season.
he had horrendous couple of games, and after shifting to left, since palermo game he has become comfortable he himself said that he is comfortable playing in the left... and has played 2 good games... lets see how he progress from there and hopefully keep his consistency.
same goes with aquilani....

Re: NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
Kneejerk. He is headless, he is supposed to be a DM, a bulldog like Gattuso. He isnt, part to Allegri's tactics making him play as box-to-box CM, part to lack of talent.
Still would keep him for depth. Its a toss between him and Flamini now. Who will stay?

Nocerino please. Flamini doesn't score.

Nocerino - Aquilani - Boateng
With 2 work horses either side do we really need a cdm?

Re: NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
I'm not going to attack him in his own appreciation thread, however he hasn't earnt a spot in my Milan squad until he plays a team in the Champions League whom represent a real challenge to our style. All that is required is discipline against Barcelona when we park the bus, whilst the other teams in the group have offered no challenge at all.
Nocerino should be judged as a long term prospect off performances against the likes of Bayern, United, Madrid and Chelsea.
Congratulations to him on his hat trick though.

By the way, this is not a knee jerk thread. I made this before his hattrick.

Re: NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
Nocerino needs to prove more to cement his place in our starting 11.
He has the potential to do that though.
However, I am glad that we signed him. He is a very useful player already.

Re: NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
good for depth to have Nocerino... I think he'll develop into a Milan player in time, he did well to score a hat trick today
Like a lot of other I wasn't happy with his purchase as we all wanted a CAM, but we seem to playing as a team currently and can only get better

Re: NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
I hope this was not just a one game thing, but he looks to be willing to challenge even his own abilities on the pitch, and that with recent success. If he can continue with the work rate and being involved in front of goal, for 2,7 mill euroes this is lol.
I also gotta say I love how Ibrahimovic drops deep and confuses the opponents defense, while our midfielders make runs towards goal, makes it harder for the opponent to mark the players. Ibra playing as an AMF behind Cassano/Robinho and Pato would be interesting to see.

Re: NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
Galli on NoceRINO; “The game against Parma was the first time that I didn’t miss Kakà. Nocerino is making us all very happy and proving wrong those who doubted his technical abilities. When I saw his shirt after the third goal, I wondered who had brought Kakà back from Madrid, but it was Nocerino, not Ricky.”

Re: NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
lol... obviously hes just praising nocerino. do not mistake him to be kakas replacement.
on nocerino: yes, his recent performances have been very decent, his hattrick was spectacular, but i feel that hes rather a temporary solution for our first XI and will most probably play as a sub in future. but i have to say that his shooting and technique have impressed me quite a lot, and i definitely prefer him over flamini (once hes back)

True on Flamini, I've always liked him but he'll have the fight of his life to regain his spot on the bench. I see Ambro as surplus ATM, and expect MVBommel and Ambro leaving at season's end
Gallaini sounds like he's been popping E's, and thinks he's watching Ricky again

Re: NoceRINO Appreciation Thread
If we had signed a player like Hamsik or Schweinsteiger AS WELL as Nocerino, I think the Nocerino hate would be much less severe then it has been. Many people here on this forum are, understandably, venting their anger and frustration from the transfer window
