I think Mourinho will be rotating players at left back, currently the most likely candidates are 1. Arbeloa 2. Nacho 3. Di Maria 4. Callejon

If the match requires an attacking full back, example in our next match against Celta Vigo at home (and most league matches at home till Coentrao returns), the preferred choices would be Di Maria and Callejon, with Ozil playing at RW and Modric or Kaka filling the central role.

Against a Dortmund both at home and away, I suspect Arbeloa would be at left back with Ramos at right back.

i dont think he is going to play di maria at left back

he would quicker put ramos there if arbeloa is not available.

plus albiol played at right back a few times already.

nacho is a squad member, there is a left back in the youth setup who could fill the position, casado.

there is also essien who can fill in a right back while someone deputies at leftback.

but coentrao will be back, if not the next league game but the one after that.

Hopefully Mou can show faih in youth for once and start the ever so versatile Nacho there, who the last times he has featured for the first team has looked very comfortable and at home

Marcelo is now in Madrid after suffering a fracture in his fifth metatarsal of his right foot last Sunday while training with the Brazilian national squad in the vicinity of Wroclaw, Poland. The left-back is now feeling more motivated to overcome this difficult situation thanks to the numerous messages of support he has received from Madrid fans all over the world, to which he wants to reply with words of thanks via Realmadrid.com and Realmadrid TV: “I am so happy to get all these messages supporting me from the fans. I had no idea so many people cared so much about me and I am really grateful to everyone. I want to make a full recovery so that I can bring more joy to the fans ".

“I am going to do everything properly to return to play with the team”. Marcelo’s statement encapsulates the determination with which he is facing this most challenging moment of his career. He remains philosophical without losing his sense of humour: “This is not enough to get anyone down, least of all me. I am always a cheerful person. It’s happened, I can’t change it but now I have to work hard to get back to playing”.

The massive response of the Madrid fans to his injury is a source of pride and brings him even more strength: “I’ve seen the messages of support and I am very pleased. Marcelo is now in the capital of Spain, after undergoing surgery last Saturday in Holland.

The Real Madrid defender was successfully operated on for a fracture on the fifth metatarsal of his right foot, by the specialist in foot and ankle surgery, Doctor Niek Van Dijk, from the Orthopedic Surgery Department of the Academisch Medisch Centrum of Amsterdam.

Marcelo, who is now at home, will begin his recuperation process tomorrow with the club's medical services.
