He is quite underrated if you ask me.

destroyed liverpool by the end of his reign, brought down a treble winning squad in Inter...

Alright yes he did win the champions league with liverpool and had a few notable finishes with liverpool, but everyone remembers you for the bad, not the good

LOL. This is gold. I was hoping you would come up with something worth responding to, but I was wrong.

Keep this thread bookmarked, only a matter of time.

Destroyed liverpool? lol

then why didnt hodgson able to rescue them? and the fact that their club needed a new owner to invest and carry the team further explains it all.

And whats happening to the treble winning old inter squad now? if anything inter should have sticked with Rafa instead of firing him immediately.

Why? Redoranje will do his usual business on responding and owning the ignorant fools who stereotype with fallacy on Rafa.

Unlike him, I simply don't have the patience or temperament to respond to the nonsense.

What place did liverpool end up finishing that season?

Hodgson was a mistake, just because he couldn't do anything with liverpool doesn't mean rafa is innocent scratch

Yea, look at inter now, they are 2 years older, and sold their best attacker in eto'o...

I don't think any manager during Fergie's 25 years in reign, has trolled Ferguson and Man United as much as Rafa Laughing

He gets on their nerves real bad.

I guess I was wrong on your age as I thought your judgment based on your statements was quite poor.

haha, benitez is a joke, does anyone take what he says seriously? reminds me a lot like maradona, who the hell cares what he thinks?

This.

Threatened? LOL I simply mentioned that the fact that Red's counter-arguments to this guff would simply blow most of the Rafa-hating nonsense out of the water. Its been done for years.

I'm guessing he might have run out of patience to actually deal with this since he has been responding to the fallacy time and time again.

I certainly have.

Simply stating to be ready to back your statments up.

Why are you slipping away from the point?

Rafa and liverpool got screwed by their old owners.

Rafa is the last manager who managed to make the best out of that 50 million flop you carrying. Also dont forget he has won a trophy that none of Chelsea players have never seen. :coffee:

I'll ignore the expletives on him.

But he is unemployed simply because he is taking a break and by choice. You think if he was actually searching for a job he wouldn't have gotten it?

He is content with his holidays as he needed it to be frank.

For now....

Why are we even bothering with that fat fool, he is trying to gain publicity. The hard truth is, the way he dragged liverpool to the ground is quite well known in the footballl world so he would not be gettiing a decent club to manage anytime soon.

i just received the next installment of rafas interview...

Muhammad Alis success was all down to Angelo Dundee
Al Pacino only made it due to the vision of his directors
The Beatles employed the greatest music producers of all time
Xavi only looks good because of Barcas system...

hilarious, all i read from liverpool fans is how this is a mediocre utd side, sir alex is doing wonders with it..now sir alex buys success and its all about the money

Poor Rafa, never knew Sir Alex had broken him this badly
this is like when we beat them to the title and he refused to call us the better team..we just had more points

So I went

http://www.mufcinfo.com/manupag/transfers/transfers_pages/2000-2009_manchester_united_transfers.htm

and

http://www.lfc-1.com/general/transfers.asp + wikipedia

I added up all transfers in. Liverpool spent 233,9 M £.

Manchester United spent 199,025 M £.

So... what's he talking about?

Wrong. One of many examples.

And do you not remember SAF saying how United were the better team after the 4-1 at OT? yea. I could name a few more

At least you don't think Pacino was down to his directors. lol

Are you speaking about the 2008/2009 year?

Because in that year, I feel Liverpool were a better team and some neutrals would agree with me.

But in the end, the best team doesn't always win and theres nothing really wrong with that.

Champions League is an example.

Maybe about the fact that United already a strong squad in 2004 whereas Rafa had a shit squad with the manager sacked precisely because of that and hence he didnt had the luxury of paying 30 mil for a defender like Ferdinend like fergie did?

I am not entering into the debate of his interview but just showing their transfer money spent is a weak argument considering the status of squads of Liverpool and United.

That may be true but that's not what he said.

And I quote: 'No, I think it's the money they were spending. If you analyse the transfer record and the history ...' So I did.
