Krasic hopes to topple serious Italy
Milos Krasic is expecting a severe test when Serbia play Italy on Friday – despite the fact that the Azzurri have already reached Euro 2012.
Cesare Prandelli’s side have nothing to play for, whereas Serbia are hoping to grab the runners-up spot in the group.
“I’ve spoken to my Juventus teammates,” said the winger. “They told me that Prandelli will try a few things out, but that they are preparing for this game with total seriousness.”
Krasic is also keen to impress given that the first meeting between these two sides was abandoned because of the Serbian Ultras.
“The events of last year in Genoa will provide us with extra stimulus to do well,” added the former CSKA Moscow man.
“We haven’t beaten a big nation for some time at the Maracana and we now have this great opportunity.”
Former Lazio full-back Aleksandar Kolarov is also hopeful that his side can collect a much-needed victory.
“These are not important points for Italy,” noted the Manchester City player.
“They’ll want to do well to prove themselves, but we have more motivation and I expect us to win the game.”

Not if you play the way you did against Milan, you won't be a threat.
