Walcott world class? Serious?
And who's the "on and on"? And if you're going to stretch this back to the Henry era then that would take us back like 10+ years and based on the only four players you listed during that time period, I can't see how he's one of the best.

Re: Rank managers on....
walcott is established in his own right by starting for arsenal and being a regular, hes an established pro at a "top" clubSt_Nick09_of_Goal wrote:who are the on and on? that's why i asked.
and walcott? he isnt established, although he is decent
there fore established imo doesnt mean just world class
@ english jewel
when was the word world class ever mentioned? established players is what we are naming
some others are
Anelka
Clichy
Song
Schezny
bendtner
point being, he gives alot of opportunity to youngsters that go on to become established players, with ok to great and even better reputations.
arsene wnger is up there.

Löw doesn't develop the youngsters, he uses players that are developed by the coaches of their clubs (Van Gaal, Tiger Gerland, Heynckes, Kloppo...). Kudos to Löw for actually playing them in the NT, though.zarola wrote:Löw.?

I wouldn't call SAF the best manager ever or something, but by no way is that guy overrated. He deserves all the respect that he gets. I do agree that he could have done better with his CL tally, but CL is definitely the hardest competition to win. The fact that in recent times, no team has won back-to-back CLs will tell you how much luck/hardwork/skill is needed to win one.
I think Wenger is definitely up there, and so is Fergie.

Probably not the winner, but a shout out for Hiddink's PSV in the early 21st century.
lol at Cosmico for his ulterior motive of trying to get everyone to say Pep Guardiola. OP=backfire

Van Gaal, Wenger, Heynckes, Kloppo, Tuchel - Pep could rotate more, but I get why he's tempted not to...
