Re: English Managers
Except for Steve McClaren I can't remember any English manager daring enough to try his luck in the Bundesliga either. ^^

Re: English Managers
Yeah, it's been a little weird how few top-class English managers there's been in the last couple of decades. Perhaps just a statistical oddity that will correct itself in the next ten years?

Re: English Managers
This is sort of just a theory, but I don't think English players view or approach the game in a way thats conducive to translating success on the pitch to success as a manager

Maybe Redknapp or Pardiola could win the title.

to the top mate.
Nigel adkins has revolutionized british total football by using pure yoputh to do it..
adam lamnbert did something like that
Pardeux already started but he is still a 4-4-2 fan
Chris Hutton is trying.
Steve Bould

they would just get better and be examples for younger managers

And he did a real "English" job there, he instantly outspent all other clubs with Wolfsburg, yet still immedeatly cried for more funds, larger transfer budget, and proceded to lose most of his matches, before being quickly sacked.

NONE of these managers are doing it at the top level.
Its a shame for English managers when Andres Villas Boas manages Tottenham or Benitez managing Liverpool for example.
