FIFA 12 Tournament / PS3 (Clubs)

So i had in mind to propose a forum tournament with a couple of members. Back when i was playing fifa 09, i was doing some competitive gaming online, so i'm proposing a tourney at a much smaller scale.

As a first try, i am proposing a round of 16 type of tournament, so 16 teams, 16 players. CL type qualification with home and away games.

It's mainly a "first come first serve" type of registration. If you are willing to get in, post your name and the team you will be playing. Not two players can have the same team, and you will have to stick with your side until the end.

There is no need to post your PSN ID next to your name if you feel uncomfortable about it, you will simply have to deal with your opponent through PM or other forms of instant messaging.

We will make a random draw to set the match ups. Players will have no more than a week to get on with their games or both will be disqualified and the loser of another round will have a chance to come back and play.

Results will be posted here, in a distinctive bold red color to separate from the discussion.

It's also your responsibility to post scores and scorers if you want in this threads, if you want to keep track of the best scorer for example. Make sure to post in a distinctive color so i dont miss the scores, as i expect you guys will e discussing here as well.



So, we will switch things around to organize a world cup like tournament with 16 teams, 4 groups of 4, the two nest teams go through, and proceed to single elimination knock out round.

I understand that you guys want to play a league, but fifa just came out, this is our test tournament, we will set up a league right after with 4 more members.

I would like to be part of it but am like free on Friday nights and weekend nights mostly and US time too, dunno how its gonna work with different time zones though, but pm me the times and if it works,

you should do something like, create brackets and let the guys playing against each other, decide when to play so it suites them both! and a deadline.

I'd suggest maybe also include regions etc Europe/US/Australasia so you're not playing somebody way outside your timezone at the beginning.

Anyways count me in, any other FIFA I would be confident I can win the whole thing.. This years will take some getting used to though

yes only one team, i think there are still some big teams available like Milan, Inter, Dortmund, Spurs, leverkusen, Valencia, Atletico etc...

@Nick unfortunately i will be unable to participate in the fifa tourney . Some unexpected events are coming up. Real Madrid is available i suppose.
