exactly. You can change managers all you want and still win nothing which is what you've been doing for more than a decade now.

Re: El Pipita - Gonzalo Higuain
Real Madrid have reportedly accepted Juventus’ request to pay for Gonzalo Higuain in instalments, but they are pushing for a higher total fee.
The clubs are reportedly using a meal held together ahead of this evening’s legends match between the two to discuss a possible transfer for the 25-year-old striker.
Talks are currently being held in a closed off section of restaurant Puerta 57 and involve Madrid President Florentino Perez, Juventus President Andrea Agnelli, director general Beppe Marotta and FIFA agent and intermediary Ernesto Bronzetti.
The first wave of reports to come from the meeting indicate that Juve have had their request to pay for Higuain in instalments accepted.
However, it is also believed that Madrid want to push Juve’s total fee paid up from €22m offered to at least €24m. Arsenal have reportedly offered this latter amount.

Re: El Pipita - Gonzalo Higuain
Really gutted by both parties (Real and Higuain) decision to part ways. I don’t like this Madrid. Zidane retired; Raul, Guti, Hierro, Figo forced out… Casillas abused… now Higuain going out after years of pointless struggle…
He should have left in 2007 (or was it 2008?) when Juve offered €25M.

Hopefully we can convince him to stay now that his move has been at a standstill. I know the chances are slim, but he was supposed to leave last year..

Re: El Pipita - Gonzalo Higuain
Although I wish he stays, but this may not be good for both parties. Pipita needs a break and so does Madrid. It can be counter productive to keep an unhappy player.
Benz & Morata will get more mins, but if they don't get goals. Madrid will face the heat as there is no striker of calibre - Higuain left, unless we sign someone. There aren't many left in the market.

in 2002-2003 we had Raul, Ronaldo and Morientes all of them different types of strikers.
Morata, Benzema and Higuain offer different abilities.

but that was when we were mostly playing 2 striker formations.
we have 1 striker position and 2 that want to play it 85-90% of the time. it just doesnt work in this particular case.
i think in the end it will be higuain who will leave but i think some of the hold up has to do with carlo, if i were him i would want input on who is leaving before it is rubber stamped.

yh I have the same feeling as well vandeez
it looks to me as if Carlo wants to choose who he wants to stay himself but remember Higgys problem was never the coach it was Perez for not valuing him at all because he wasn't a galactico

Re: El Pipita - Gonzalo Higuain
it is just disheartening to see that some people still can not see that in a forward thinking football system, benzema kills higuain hands down.Even morata kills higuain.
no star would be where they are if they werent given the chances.morata, needs a chance
In modern football, you need to have excellent ball control, first-touch and have the ability to play one-touch football.Higuain is very poor in all those aspects and You may cite examples where he displayed these attributes but i am telling you that i pay very very close attention to these details and i can confidently tell you that higuains success rate is as low as 3 out of every 10 tries.
benzema is a potential beast that just needs to be given the confidence he was given in mourinho's second season.we have seen the best of benzema in mourinho's second season and We have seen higuain at his best, before ronaldo arrived, when he was the main striker.
maybe you should go through his statistics and see how many goals he scored against the top teams.
Just like pepe, he could flatter a coach to believing he has it all but when push comes to shove, he dissapears and it is usually on a grand stage.
Our Squad is annoyingly big and filled with a lot of players we would like to see as starters but for a start, higuain should leave and let benzema and morata battle it out for the spot.
We have all being dying to see our youth products become world class, i cant see a better generation than the one we have now and higuain's presence would just give rise to an unfavourable domino effect where everyone loses.

Higuain has good ball control and first-touch. Not world-class, but he has other things vital for a striker, like positioning, the ability of playing with the back at the goal, great off-the-ball movement and great finishing when on-form.

lmao I don't know where to even begin with this statement....
Ronaldo plays a different position altogether, in reality benzema isn't even a striker as he plays better outside the box than in it.
Higuain scored 28% of all shots he took in comparison to Benzema 17% and Ronaldo 14%.
Why would you want to get rid of our only pure number 9? Literally makes no sense.

^crimson to the rescue.
I read that and was like,"eh better not"
I still believe we should respect his decision to leave. I'd love it if he stayed, but it seems very unlikely.

Re: El Pipita - Gonzalo Higuain
you two don't understand that 4 2 3 1 is a thing of the past
and the 4312 is what ancelloti will be using, if you had this in mind, maybe you would understand the whole situation.
plus higuain is wasteful and he wants to leave, just let him be

Now, I know I am going to be sorry but I just have to ask you to sketch that 4-3-1-2 "Ancelotti will be using". Based on your description of Higuain's weaknesses and our "striker" situation, this one could be pure gold.

Re: El Pipita - Gonzalo Higuain
Let's get the stats straight.
source: realmadrid.com
Goal stats all comps:
Benz, 99 shots, 2O goals, 20% efficiency
CR7, 357 shots (), 53 goals, 15%
Higuain, 69 shots, 17 goals, 25%
Assists all comps:
Benz, 20 assists
CR7, 11 assists
Higuain, 8 assists
The problem with Benz and Higuain was never stats. Both guys are elite level clearly. The issue is opportunities. With Di Maria going full retard and Ozil being inconsistent, the number of opportunities dropped for our CFs. Ronaldo got his of course...
And that's why i'm against having two elite CFs at Madrid right now. With CR7, it's not a normal situation. There isn't enough opportunities to keep two such CFs happy. It would take a record setting goalscoring season like the one before... end even then. Both Higuain and Benz weren't happy with the situation even then.
