dude while its true that pepe went 4/4 in bad crosses. he recovered some balls, made decent passes, scored a goal and had INTENT in the game of contributing.Its true giaccherini didnt do much but what the hell do yhou expect from his ass the first game.

God, elia didnt play because Conte has only seen him play once with a juve shirt. Krasic didnt start because he wasnt fit to start and frankly, Pepe and Giaccherini did a more than ok job filling out their roles.

I've explained this many times, I can careless about his work rate. The true work horse out there Was Marchisio all over Midfield. Pepe's crosses went mostly high and far to the second post. Some blocked. His finishing was horrible, the second goal was pratically handed to him, I don't give credit for a simple shot. If you want a real goal, go see Marchisio's.

I only just seen the game. It was fantastic and Pirlo was class among a few others. Juventus worked 20x harder this game than in any of Del Neri's. Conte is bringing back juve spirit.

On Giac, he was pretty poor but I won't judge him yet. He's realistically only a squad player so I wasn't expecting him to dazzle Parmas defence.

Pepe was fairly decent, Matri was unlucky, Vucinic grew into the game more towards the end, Del Piero is still so calm and precise, Krasic looked to have a better touch but can't judge him properly yet.

The defence looked solid and it's a shame about how it ended. However, with Siena up next it's not too much of a concern. Lichtsteiner, aside from the goal, made Giovinco his bitch and was brilliant. Vidal and Marchisio were both hard working and also produced a goal a peice. All in all, far better than I was expecting today.

Our depth has VASTLY improved with players like Elia, Quagliarella and Bonucci on the bench as well as Vidal etc etc.
