Inter had a wage to turnover ratio of 1.1:1

In English, they were paying more wages than the total amount of money they turned over. The figure is now close to 0.8:1. This is a work in progress and it is definitely progressing very well.

Hands out to Branca.

Milan is at 160
Inter 145
Juve 100

We need to get down to where Juve is tbf

If you look at other teams its shocking how bad some of our wages are

Cavani and Lavezzi both make 2.20
Cordoba, Stankovic, Motta, Chivu, Maicon, Milito all make more than that Neutral
Di Natale makes 1.30, Hernanes 1.80

According to Gazzetta we've actually gone UP considerably from 2010

In 2010 we were down to 121.4, but now were up to 145

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I'm confused about how they are coming up with these numbers though...

The sum of our list is about 62.5 mil. Even with tax (50% ishh) thats 94 mil.

So why the total is 145?

Gazzetta always reports the gross amount that the club pays, not the net amount that the player receives. Weird though, because the player figures below the total are net.

Yeah but I still don't see how they are receiving that gross number

Our list in net salary adds up to 60 whatever like I said, but even if you INCLUDE the 50% tax the teams have to pay (or whatever the number is in that region) to find the gross, that number still only comes out to 90 something million...Wheres the other ~50 million coming from

I'm not liking your math. If the government takes 50% of the gross sum, then to get back to the gross sum from the net sum you need to add 100%, not 50.

Mathematical errors aside: 60 million wages listed, if the taxes are included that would bring it to somewhere in the ballpark of 120 million....that's still 25 million short, no?

Gazzeta is ridiculous, there's now way we could get 20+

Forlan - 3.5
Pazzini - 2.5
Zarate - 2
Ranocchia - 1.5
Jonathan - 1.2
Alvarez - 1
Nagatomo 700k
Poli 600k
Casta 400k

That's a bit less than,15 which means Eto'o and Matrix almost cover the whole number.Suazo,Obinna,Pandev,Santon,Mariga...Those wages gone is at least a 10 mill improvement.

And if they count by season, not by year than we don't count Pazzini and Rano in wages and count Kharja as another departure which makes us even better.

Nah its got to be by year not season, cause Sneijder made our list in 2009...

Here are the gazzetta images:

Inter wages 2011-wages1

Inter wages 2009-2010-comparison

The 2010 Gazzetta image adds up to 68.9 mil
The 2011 Gazzetta image adds up to 62.8 mil

So how the fck did we go up 25 mil?

Must've been a contractual thing

At least here in the states a lot of contracts vary by year...So even though it might be 3 years 30 mil, that doesn't mean 10mil per year necessarily...

Could be 8 mil year 1, 10 mil year 2, 12 mil year 3 etc etc or vice versa

I think Chivu, Muntari and Cordoba will be off the books by the end of the season. If Chivu and Cordoba come back it will obviously be at a reduced rate.

They have been so generous with contracts but at least they are starting to do better. Having more balance wages will enable the team to pay higher transfer fees when need be.

We've done good in terms of shipping players out.

Moratti is serious about FFP as i read in a recent interview.

Expect the likes of Cordoba, Stankovic, Maicon, Chivu to be shipped out next.

What happened to the MM furious at Branca thread?

Seems like the reports were legit:

"I was especially sorry for Castaignos because if we had known about the problem, we would have included him in the list. Will I take any action? We'll see. Furious? I'm not going to say that something like that can happen because is quite serious, and it shouldn't have happened, but that's not a reason to go and hit people... Problems are there to be tackled and solved."
