Top 10 Players In 5 Years Time?

Will be interesting to see everyone's list. Try to forget about career ending injuries as well.

Remember the likes of Ronaldo, Hulk, Aguero, Bale etc who rely on their physicality could all be finished by then.

Messi, Fabregas, Sahin, Pato, Rooney etc who've been playing first team football at a ridiculously early age could have burnt out by then.

Then you have highly rated youngsters like Gotze, Hazard, Neymar, Lucas Moura Wilshere, Thago etc who could all easily turn out to be the next Denilson, Marcelo Salas, Robinho, Cisse, D'Allesandro, Pennant, Sinama-Pongolle/Le-Tallec etc.

Pato doesnt rely in physicality,hes all about dribbling and finishing,he isnt a winger anymore. still 21 anyways.

Also,I think Ronaldo will definitely drop a lot of form once he hits his 30s.From the youngsters,imo

Rally unsure about Sahin,injured both of his knees.Ganso has sucked ever since his second injury too.Gotta give a mention to other guys like Smalling,Rafael,David Luiz,Pastore,Lucas Leiva,Hummels,Rodrigo(from Sevilla,really good player),Deulofeu,Varane etc.The future looks very bright for Germnay,Brazil and Spain

So difficult, really it is. Great thread though.

I still think Messi, but in a different way. Gone will be the days of 50 plus goals and I expect a more controlled Messi with more passing and playing a full number 10 type roles. He might even be a pass first player....though that could be past the 30 mark more likely.

As for other names, I just dont see how Neymar wont make it if he acts right.

If Wilshere isnt plauged by injuries, I expect him to be there.

I think Ozil will be seen as one of the very best, maybe even Madrid's best if he is still around...you just cant predict that club.

Cesc will be up there I expect still.

I think there is a chance for guys like Lucas, like Ganso, like Gotze.

I am bias, but here or somewhere else, I expect Thiago to be near the top of the best midfielders list. His brother intrests me greatly also.

Hazard I throw into the Neymar basket, talent wise I dont see why he wont make it. Choosing the wrong club (like Neymar) or his own attitude would be the only thing I see ruining it.

Balo would be here I honestly think but he needs to do a major changes in his attitude, mostly the worrying stuf I hear about him not working hard in training. So, I rule him out for now.

Cristiano wont be up there at this point, I still expect him to be a great player, but his effectiveness will clearly be on the slide. I predict.

Rooney I am not sure about. Right now I think he will still be up there, being at Man utd alone will help with that.

Sergio Busi will be one of the best, but wont get recognised as such.

There probably will be guys we dont know yet who out of nowhere will be added to this list.

Özil will be the best AM

And Benzema will become a true 9 and score a shitload of goals

These are my predictions, no bias, I truly believe these have the talent to do this

Arsenal

Jack Wilshere. What can I say? Playing over 40 games at his age is not common in football.

Chelsea
NONE

Man Utd
If Wenger has to regret for missing out on certain players, it must be Phil Jones. 16m is nothing on this player.

Liverpool
Jordan Henderson. Remember the name.

Man City
If Mancini is around and gives Nasri the freedom... they will have a ballon dor candidate.

My Nr.1 pick is Eden Hazard.

Obviously my own Weird list


Benzema - Best Striker in the world In making.

Hazard- was a Huge gem at 17, now at 20 he is showing why he is worth 30m. In 5 years time, can be the best winger in the world

Fabregas- Already WC but might turn out to be even better in next 5 years. Also think he will be back at Arsenal

Ozil: Close to being WC, needs composure and he will be there.

Goetze - A real Talent. Will be in top 10 in 3 years nevermind 5.

Wilshere - Might be biased but He will be in that list as well, maybe sooner if he doesnt become injury prone

Aguero- Top 20 atm already, If continues the great form, he will be in it

Osvaldo - A surprise package, got a feeling he will explode in Serie A this season

Pasquato - Got great hopes for him, I've seen him few times, Has talent in him, real talent. Needs to be given proper chance.

Suarez- Probably is in top 10 atm anyways lol

I have the feeling both Martin and Eriksen are going to be two big midfielders very soon, specially eriksen.

Varane of course, think he has potential to become a moster CB

In 5 years time?

Ozil- He was played as left winger or SS in Bremen and Schalke then he made the transition into AM. He was pretty much an attacker all his life bar the last 2 years of his career. He is slowly making the transition between SS->CAM. If he manages it, I have no doubt that he'll be best playmaker in the world. There're few to none pacey CAM's who could play LW, RW, SS and offside striker at the same time Have fun marking him

Benzema- The guy isn't as pace reliant as other forwards, he is almost all skill and he's got a lot of it. His ceiling is very high. He needs to work on his attitude and finishing some more= best striker in the world in the making. He also belongs to the rare kind of two-footed dribblers

Muller- He is one of the smartest players in modern football. I expect him to be deadly in 5 years time the least Oh yeah, he is two-footed as well
