I'm sure that there are times when the director will get a player the coach wants. There are also probably times when the director will get a player he wants and force the coach to integrate him into the squad. Then, there are players that both the director and coach agree on. So, there is no use in having this debate. This practice happens in almost every sport.

nop its like in every position team coach making a list of players he likes based on budget that team have!then director manager trying to sign them!if he fails the first moves to second etc also can modify the list if scouter or director manager finds a good transfer target but coach have to agree!

its very rare thing for director manager to make whatever he likes this thing isnt happening with top teams!

We were unable to get D'agostino cuz Udinese were playing hard ball over this deal..they wanted 25 m but we were ready to offer only 15m hence we pulled out of the deal..

And guess what we did next..Overpaid for Melo(25m)..Pure Secco Madness..

Anyways enough of this Secco discussion...He is the past..No use crying over split milk..
