As I watched the Madrid game yesterday I knew from the start that its going to be a side who is worth less than half of ronaldo´s salary who were up to some serious beating. It was like playing fifa on easy, or bowling with fences up.

When are they going to split the revenue from tv rights in laliga? balance it for the goods of the entire league ffs! I know its not the solution but it is a good start.

I agree, it's great for the fans, but for neutrals it's dull and repetitive. What's worse is how the players of the opposing team seem to expect it, too. The game was over yesterday once Ronaldo scored the first, by half time the Zaragoza players were already thinking about what they would have for dinner...

happened two times with arsenal in their history wich goes back over 100 years, happens something similiar in laliga almost each time those two don´t play eachother

No other top league have two teams teams scoring so much as madrid and barca have the last years

The thrashing thing is overplayed it does'nt happen as often as ppl have you believe.....

Madrid scored 5 or more last season 7 times where Barca did it 5 times.....

None the less i do agree with you that financially the league needs a major shake up.

exactly! I think it would benefit the league massivly if they had some team who were an actual title favourite besides the two mentioned from the start of the season. Maybe a top 4 who is capable of winning the UCL

In before real Madrid is the best team and will win everything this year!

Ya it's boring to see both these teams smash everyone all season and then have a brutal classico where barca wins and Madrid yell conspiracy lol it's all so predictable!!!!!!

Ok maybe it dont happen two often but the league certainly is not competetive, its more repetetive. Its not easy for any team to cope with madrid and barca because they are so damn good, but no team is given any funds/reason to do so now and the gap is only increasing year after year.

I miss rafa´s valencia and the deportivo who always beat madrid at riazor

I agree with that.... especially the part about Depor i miss Super Depor Sad

I will say this though alot of the spain's problems are down to the clubs being extremely poorly managed, yes the money is an issue but it would'nt be as bad if certain club's were managed alot better....

For example Betis and Depor have been relegated recently due to the fact they spent more than can realistically afford.

To be fair...Chelsea put 4 or more past their opponents 8 times when they won the double...Including 8-0, 7-0, 7-1, 5-0, 7-2, 5-0,

Watching Real or Barcelona in La Liga is totally uninteresting for non fans of these teams.

Still , I enjoy much more watching Real because of the players they have (notably Benzema).

quoted for truth

btw zaragoza are relegation candidates and only survived the relegation last year because of javier agguire.

dude, pre 2008 there was no easy games.yes i said it,we struggled to win every match back then. Its this ridiculous amount of star players that makes some games very one sided,oh and both are arguably top 3 teams in the world too.

Yes it was rash as its been a few other winners than barca and madrid, but recently laliga is won either by madrid or barca and they getting stronger while the rest getting weaker wich is my point to start with sunshine

LOL if you care to look through the history of La Liga carefully and not just who won the league you would see Spain was competitive until 2007-2008.....

If you are basing your opinion on La Liga is'nt competitive because of who wins it in the end then practically every league in history is'nt competitive.....

La Liga current is'nt competitive though tbf.

I know it was a bad way to put it, but as I replied to Che and what I´m tring to say is recently the gap seems to increase and you pretty much know its between barca or madrid. The league need a city and a chelsea!

Anyway i agree with the overall point your trying to make , infact i dont think anyone with a clear unbias mind would disagree tbh...

the difference is you kinda expect it when Barca or Madrid are playing so you dont get that excited, plus this has been going for a few seasons now so chelsea's double season isnt exactly relevant
