Juve to complete Elia move?
Juventus could complete the signing of Dutch international Eljero Elia from Hamburg on Monday.
According to the Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport, the winger is expected to fly in to Turin to have his medical and sign the contract.
His price-tag is thought to be around €10m, but there is competition from Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Hamburger SV Coach Michael Oenning has confirmed Elia is set to leave the club.
“He has trained well, but then he has played poorly. He needs help. Therefore I need to talk with him,” Oenning told the Hamburger Morgenpost.
“There seems to be an interest there. We will see what they're doing.”
Juventus did have a bid in place for Diego Perotti, but it is reported Sevilla turned down the €14m offer.
Diego Lugano was another target for the Bianconeri, but he has officially joined Paris Saint-Germain.

Re: Juve to complete Elia move?
10 million for Elia is a steal. This kid is extremely talented and will break into the netherlands national team very soon if he can get some consistent playing time to show what hes capable of. Hes got loads of talent and is still very young. Would be an excellent signing.

According to today's edition of Tuttosport Elijah to Juventus is a marriage that you might realize that tomorrow, rumor has seen the Dutchman is expected to Turin for visitors mediche.10 million cost of the card, the price would be lower than Juventus wanted to pay for Perotti. To the outside Argentina was in fact rejected an offer from Sevilla in the final hours of 14 million, in fact, the Spaniards still remain on their positions and it takes 20. It is not ruled out a surprise last minute, so 'as Afellay. At this time, but Elijah is what remains firmly in the lead role for the outside and the Hamburg Amauri could accept in return.

Re: Juve to complete Elia move?
Hamburger SV winger Eljero Elia looks set to depart from Imtech Arena this summer. Having continuously been linked with the Serie A giants Juventus throughout the summer, the Dutch international is eventually going to make a move.
The Italian powerhouse earlier made a bid for the winger which was rejected by the Hamburg officials. The Red Shorts coach Michael Oenning, though, has signalled Elia’s departure prior to the close of this season’s summer transfer window.
The player himself wished to play for a new club citing lack of opportunities at Imtech Arena. He has consistently been benched by his coach this season, coming on as a second half substitute on most of the occasions. Elia told that he wants more first team action under his belt as every footballer does and therefore will prefer moving to Italy. The 24-year-old mentioned that Juventus are a big club and it’ll be an honour to represent them.
The player also wished to win silverware with the Turin giants. The Dutchman hailed his Hamburg manager saying that Oenning rates him very highly and showed gratitude for making his transfer possible after unnecessary delays.
The manager on the other hand told that Elia needs more time to improve his skills but the player doesn’t have the patience to do so. He further added that the winger is a great talent and it will be sad to part ways with him during the summer. He wished him success with his possible Italian journey.
Oenning concluded his remarks by saying, "He has trained well, but then he has played poorly. He needs help. Therefore I need to talk with him. I've also had an interest in him. There seems to be an interest there. We will see what they're doing."
Elia featured in his club’s last league game against FC Koln, once again coming on as a second half substitute on Saturday, August 27. The Red Shorts lost that game by a 4-3 margin to find themselves rooted at the bottom with just one point from four games.

Re: Juve to complete Elia move?
10 mill is a good price for him, hes a great player but is it just me or are we becoming top heavy?
I mean we have alot of forward quality but we dont have that much at the back. I think we need to sign a versitle defender. caceres would of been perfect imo.
