The teams mentioned by you are all good teams yet possess little experience in Europe and don't exactly scream danger

Let's break down what you're saying. Last season's CL group, we were paired with Valencia ( a very good La Liga team), the Turkish champions and the SPL champions. Hardly a walkthrough is it?

It is not United's fault that they are seeded along with the 2 Spanish giants + Inter Milan and Bayern...who else is there that is hard enough to challenge? we ovbiously ain't gonna play the BPL teams.

In the past it can be argued that Barca had easy groups and Arsenal too. It just happens that this year, we have a really easy group this time.

Basically, I don't understand why you are complaining we get easy groups when this is the only time we have a genuinely easy group.

thats the point as United have only seemed to face off against solid teams who will put up a challenge and yet nothing more. I have been waiting for United to be in a group where they are paired with a superpower AND a typical solid and effective team that like Valencia.

United as a superpower team are expected to finish first in these groups as if they were paired with Barca, Bayern, and Real, the group would actually be looked upon as one to watch out for.

Lets admit is man, the groups have been a little lenient of United. Facing off against Scottish, Turkish or Ukranian champions isn't a dire challenge like facing off against the teams with decades of european experience and titles to back it up.

Barca? So-so every year in their group seeding, and as for arsenal, this is the first time I remember them getting an actual challenge in their group.

Besides, don't take this to seriously as I'm only magnifying what I can here.

but seriously the only teams who would have a shot at beating us are in the first pot....and we can't play them because of that

i'm sure there has been easier groups over the years

question tho, does anyone understand why City was automatically put into group a?....when H was available aswell with only Barcelona and AC Milan in it, is there a dollars spent limit to each group i don't know about LOL.....anyone care to enlighten me

ManU might pay under the table and UEFA is fine with it because it insures a lot of income. ManU has a lot of fans from around the world that believe the hype. The US ownership did the Hollywood thing and promoted the name.

I didn't here anything about preventing it though, so clearly they've got no problem.

I just pointed out some comparative draws and drew the conclusion that the trash Mou is talking Madrid fans actually are beliving.

I mean, if we are getting help, then it surely isnt the group stages because we have played teams around the same level as Madrid.

For television reasons there is 2 maximum english teams that can play on Wednesday and 2 have to play on Tuesday. Since group E-H play on one night and A-D play on another. Man City couldn't be in group E-H because Arsenal and Chelsea were already there, so they had to be in a group A-D because only one english team was playing that night so far.

It doesn't matter because in the end, they are not going to win it. And this is by no means a jab at united (they have a sick ass team), but rather a testament to Barca. Everyone in europe is 1 notch below Barcelona at the moment unfortunately.
