Re: Robben suffers athletic Pubalgia
Well let's see, since I couldn't find the exact number of times all players got injured I will see how many game they each played in each season. I think the average number is about 50 games [38 league game, 8 CL games, 4 Cup games].
I'll start from 2004 [Out of a possible 350 matches]*:
Robben- Missed 193 games [played 157 out of 350]
Ribery- Missed 156 games [played 194 out of 350]
V. Persie- Missed 192 games [played 158 out of 350]
**Drum Rolls**
And the winner of the Glass Man trophy by a margin of 1 single game is...
Arjen Robben
*Wikipedia used to get the number of appearances

Actually it's now confirmed on the website, but it's just said as a normal groin injury, not something that bad... he's under treatment and it's probably just for precautionary measures. We have the miracle healer under our payroll

Re: Robben suffers athletic Pubalgia
“At the present time, we can’t say for certain exactly when he’ll be fully fit again,” chief medical officer Dr. Hans-Wilhelm Müller-Wohlfahrt informed fcbayern.de. The player would receive “intensive therapy,“ said the doc, who will review the treatment plan on a daily basis.St_Nick09_of_Goal wrote:Sushi Master wrote:Actually it's now confirmed on the website, but it's just said as a normal groin injury, not something that bad... he's under treatment and it's probably just for precautionary measures. So, pretty much no idea. I'd say maybe a week or two. Gotta wait for the miracle doc to do his magic.

Re: Robben suffers athletic Pubalgia
Well he has had this groin issues & has been giving World Class performances with these like against Wolfsburg. Kaka is a bad example. I dont think any other player in the world has had so many injuries & recovered from it & started again in VINTAGE MODE as soon as he steps on the pitch.
It does not look like a 1-2 month break. At best he will need to take a couple of weeks off. He may play this Saturday. One thing is for sure if Bayern are down 0-1 , Heyneckes will definitely sub him in

Robben's injury record in Bayern is excelent. He's only had a few minor setbacks, but always comes back full blast.
That 6 month layoff wasn't Bayern's fault.

Re: Robben suffers athletic Pubalgia
He has a groin injury you say, while being benches? That is what Dutch girls can do to you.
But anyways, Dutch media says he has a pubic bone injury, but will be fine soon. I often even forget he plays for our NT since he is only there veeery rarely as some sort of added bonus.
Don't get what's wrong with these guys.

It's no where near as drastic as your first post declared it. He's not gonna lose his career or something, he's just being rested as a precautionary measure.St_Nick09_of_Goal wrote:So did your medias finally pick it up?

Alright, but I can still say your analysis was *bleep* exagerrated. No kissing to be done.

Apologiseeeeeeee!!!
Re: Robben suffers athletic Pubalgia
Nick, where is the groin injury you spoke about? All I hear is the first diagnosis I posted, pubic bone inflammation
First, Aguero to Madrid, Kaka to Chelsea and now that. I think that Marca is more trustworthy :lol!:
