I was getting sick of reading hundreds of comments about this Mr. X, so I've put what I know into one simple consolidated table:



Comment on this thread to add information, new criteria or new players to this. I'll then update the table accordingly.

Haha nice table, you should have colour coded it though, like red is no and green is yes and then put it in order from most yes's to most no's.

The updated table with new features:
- Colour coding and ranking as suggested by Brigate Rossonere.
- Eye colour as suggested by Milantildeath.



Notes:
- I made 1cm away from 1.83m as the 'maybe' threshold.
- I made 75kg as the yes threshold, and 70kg the no threshold (anything in between got a maybe).
- I only classed Liverpool and Arsenal as 'big' European clubs. Tottenham and Roma got maybes because they don't regularly participate in European competition.
- I included the rankings on request, but remember, the rankings are very subjective because of the above notes and the fact that this table is incomplete

As you can see, at the moment, Bale and Witsel are the front-runners.

Great job compiling the information into one table, though perhaps we could include some information concerning whether either Allegri or Galliani actually issued a statement directly concerning them and whether it was a strict denial.

I say this to try and balance the qualitative and quantiative elements, especially as we aren't certain whether all of the clues are strictly speaking accurate or useful. For instance Marco Parolo gets 13 points under this system - 12 if you question whether his left foot is 'excellent' - however it's still very well organised and useful, particularly to perhaps exclude certain players. For instance the poor showing of Sandro and Asamoah may prove more telling than someone's strong correlation with the whispers from Allegri.

Also you missed a fantastic opportunity to troll Arsenal.

Could someone confirm Hamsik's eye colour and preferred foot because that would put him at the top of this. However, if his eyes are indeed brown, that would mean that every candidate is ruled out!

Aquilani's eye's and height are wrong for the description.

I've found this which rules our Asamoah, Pastore, Aquiliani and appears to rule out Hamsik, but if you read carefully, he's only describing his response to questions with regards to Hamsik. Then again, he could just be flat-out lying to everyone!

Thanks for the update and the player additions as well.

As much as I would absolutely adore Poli no one would ever bother to mention his ability to shoot if they were describing him, and to be honest whilst I want Poli I'd expect him in addition to Mr. X. Though this may be a greedy attitude I admit.

Also Parolo's on 15 points, though there's no need to include him. Just saying.

Gaetano Agostino also got 15 points, but I didn't include him because we haven't been linked lately.

Problem is there will be more than just one player, and Mr.X could only be the beginning of our transfer activity.

I can almost swear to my decency that Milan will sign more than two players by September 1st, or else I ain't IrasMaldinista!

Milan CAN live with only one LCM in the bag, but they NEED more quality and quantity to survive the hardships of all three fronts next year.

In my opinion, an above-average midfielder like Asamoah and Witsel will arrive to make sure we are numerically complete, then the hunt for the real "Colpo di mercato" will begin.

At the end of May Galliani said, "Fabregas can play that role too, but we are monitoring many players' situation."

I believe he's trying to seduce Fab to play in Milan for a couple years before finally realizing the dream Barca move.

Call me whatever you like, Fabregas will be a Milan player in 2011...
