Are we underprepared?

First game of the season comes against udinese at the friuli. But I'm worried we are underprepared. They r coming off 2 very important games and they looked very sharp against arsenal whilst we still look very rusty and uncoordinated . I know we have the berlusconi cup but they r only 40m matches

I'm sure the boys will pull up fine
we can't expect a turn around right away last season was a bad one its goin to take hours on the training track and a few matches to pull there head in

In terms of squad, i think u are prepared for the season except that u could have added another striker which would have been excellent. In terms of match fitness i dont think the player are at full fitness yet.

It is going to take some time to gel.
It was the same thing last season, opening with a 1-0 loss to Bari and a horrible performance all around if I recall correctly.

Just don't expect the team to be 100% they can still easily win but I'm not expecting a fantastic performance, the second game I am though.

Obviosly we arent that prepared coz there will be 3-4 new starters and i agree that we lack fitness and after Berlusconi cup we should prepare for the season without any frendlies

Thanks for the information Devi..I wasnt really well-informed about this..

Sunday is probably where we can properly judge juventus' players perfomances even if its a friendly but a high-profile one nevertheless..

On Sunday is another event. It has nothing got to do with today's event. It's just a Milan-Juve tradition pre-season thingy.

NOT!! We still have that Nott's County friendly, the inauguration of the New Stadium. Hopefully Conte plays second strings players. Very Happy

I think were very well prepared. For the first time in a long time, theres no glaring weaknesses in our lineup, PLUS we have good depth. Weve fixed our fullback problems, which will also relieve alot of pressure off of our centerbacks. And we have a very strong attack and midfield and have good depth as well. And we have a coach with coaching experience who has a never-say-die winning mentality. So yea, id say were very well prepared.

Galliani promised us big star, poli has huge potential but i dont think he is the player we are looking for at this instant.

Such is the price for not qualifying for Europe but the season is long and if we perform well the disadvantage at the start can turn into an advantage later on
