Hard to say really, Henry was worth more to Arsenal than what CR7 was to us. I would go for Henry as he was loyal and probably the best role model for anyone who wanted to be a striker. He had pace, skill and the best finishing i've ever seen!

If tap ins are so easy then why can't extremely good players such as benzema and even higuain miss sitters that ronaldo would score?

It's not like ronaldo is playing striker for us, he's playing the same position as henry, LAM/LW (hybrid winger/striker).

I'm not biased, I've watched henry play since I was a kid, he's one of my favorite players. But its not like he didn't score tap ins too.

Ronaldo IS much bigger (the dude is 83 kgs, and that was last year, this year he is even bigger). Henry was taller but Ronaldo is a monster physically, only thing henry will match him at is speed.

Yes yes, we all thought villa would score 40+ goals at barca. But did he? Ronaldo is proven in 2 leagues. He didn't do so hot with barca either, although he was good at first.

Once again, 28 goals compared to 50+ goals?

So ronaldo has never missed a tap in ?

And LW is ronaldos position on paper, your every single attack finishes with him, he is your top dog. Henry never was important to barca as ronaldo is to you. Eto'o was the main figure in terms of scoring goal and 2nd was messi. Compare that with madrid, every single attack starts from ronaldo and finishes with him. And yea i agree ronaldo is a physical beast, dont see why thats important lol ?

Villa plays as a LW mate, and once again, he doesnt have the role of Ronaldo. Messi is what ronaldo is at madrid.

No, infact our attacks do not start and end at ronaldo all the time. He has very very rarely missed a tap in this season, unlike benz or higuain who have missed several. The play actually can end with benz/higuain getting a goal, an individual dribble, or some of our other players creating chances. Our game is not centered around ronaldo and we have seen that in the clasicos.

And anyhow, you still have not answered why henry has scored much less goals then cristiano. Seriously, our midfield is our biggest problem along with the CB position, so I don't see how henry has had worse supply then CR.

you act like Portugal is Iceland ! To say that France won a world cup and euro is cause of Zidane alone that is ridiculous! Even in 2006 France 1-0 Brazil. Who scored ?

Simple answer really...you make it sound like you're asking the question that will make you win the argument. Henry was not just a striker. He dropped deep, created play, passed the ball....his job wasn't to score goals, it was to do everything and he did that. Unless you actually watched him, which I'm assuming you didn't as you couldn't answer that question, you will never understand the difference between the two.

Henry won the CL, WC, Euro etc. etc. ....Where is Ronaldo in all of this? Henry won all those trophies with different teams, so you can't say "Oh, Henry had bla, blala and blabla with him on the team so it was easy" because he won trophies with every team he became a part of.

Like I said though, its futile to argue if you haven't seen Henry.

what exactly makes Cristiano a better footballer than Henry? Henry did things that Ronaldo could never do on the pitch. hes a better leader, role model, etc etc etc.

henry all day, every day. second only to ronaldo in our generation. sucks that he never won world player of the year. was runner was twice. how does zidane have 3? he wasn't that good. fifa should give one to henry.

Right now I would say Henry, TH was truly my favorite player in the world outside Real Madrid and of course after my R9.
CR7 is still only 26 though when he is done with his career I'm pretty sure Ronaldo will be the superior one.

CR7 is still not finished, and there is still the effect of nostalgia when talking about Henry. I can't see this debate having any substance till at least 5 years from when CR finish his career, or reach the twilight point of his career.

as i said cr7 has yet to finish his career.. he has achieved a lot both individually and at club level.. henry has done a bit more but then he is much older .. lets wait for 4 0r 5 years. and well see who is better

Also, nostalgia over henry is still in full effect, and hence arguments will be colored.

P.S: Thuram was the best french player the last 20 years IMO.

Henry is the reason arsenal haven't won anything for the past 6 years, I remember the champion league final 2006. Arsenal were down to 10 players due to a controversial call in the first 15 minutes. This guy was fearless, was the only arsenal player playing optimistically. You can also say he alone took real madrid out of the 2006 champion league after having scored a wonder goal after dribbling 4 defenders.
