as a striker(goal scorer) i would take cristiano in a heart beat but as a team player henry by some amount..

The top goal scorer in both EPL and La Liga.

Do I need to say more? Ronaldo has proven himself as the better player no doubt. Henry is good, but Ronaldo has performed good in every team he has been in, and most of the time, been best in the team he has been playing in, and keeps breaking records.

its very easy for people to say henry is better.. and since i havent seen him i cant really comment.. still his dribbling and finishing at his peak is more destructive than cristiano's.. but thats not to say this isnt a debate.. ronaldo is doing what not many players before hin have done.. the praise messi gets and rightly so he is a unique talent still ronaldo is competing with him in a slightly worse team speaks volumes of his ability.. and a player cant be judged simply becase of his technique.. there are other factors like mental level, determination,bravery, aggression etc and physical factors too where ronaldo is slightly better.. and for now henry is better..but lets see and wait for cr7 to finish his career..hes just 26.. henry hit his peak around this age if i am not wrong.. for now nenry> ronaldo but its not a LARGE difference.. Smile

Messi isn't in this debate. Why are you so obsessed with him? Messi and Ronaldo are not performing on a similar level. I never said henry > messi I did say Henry > C. Ronaldo

I've seen Henry at his monstrous best and I believe it has some level of debate in it (note, some level, not an entire thesis dedicated to the topic). I really think most of us are looking at this as if we are comparing Thomas Hassler with Gareth Barry or something. Cristiano Ronaldo can certainly hold his own with Henry at his prime. I'm just pointing that the pro - Henry supporters maybe over-reacting a bit. Prime Henry was better but not as above and beyond as you and Mr. Messi are making it out to be...

Whenever I watched Henry at Arsenal, he always dazzled me, his movement off the ball, his control and not to mention his finishing were out of this world.

Other than his goal tally Ronaldo has never done anything that has dazzled or amazed me in all truthness
