Arbeloa is a great player though, I'd love to have him.
He definitely deserves more playing time imo. One of the most consistent players around.

Arbeloa is a likeable player for any coach.
they like players who don't take a risk and just do their main job. i like him too but i'd be more satisfied too see more attacking contribute from him.
as a RB i prefer him over Ramos.

FIFA 11 is a game though and does injustice to possession based football and weaker players.

We relied too heavily on counter-attacks this past season. Most of our goals came from counter-attacks and our possession play wasn't that good.

you are right about that, we have to know what to do with the ball, but thats where we become deadly, make the enemy fear to even have the ball in their half.

Ozil isn't that bad on the ball under pressure so he should play a little more deeper.

I guess it depends on your personal scaling, but for me, his performances are a regular in the 8 range. Arbeloa is a beast. He SHOULD start at RB for us. I think mou really likes players like him and will place him at RB. He's not too bold on the attack, but he has the talent to really cause some damage attacking-wise. Just look at his goal vs athletico madrid. A few others (assists/goals) I can't remember either.

He's more of our defensive fullback whereas Marcelo will usually attack a lot.

With the arrival of Coentrao, Arbeloa doesnt seem to have much to do. I mean, Coentrao can back up left, and Ramos can back up right. CB position is already crowded with Pepe, Ramos, Carvalho and Abiol. Where and how often will Arbeloa end up playing?
