If we get a Mezz'ala then I'd really like to see Cassano or Robinho as Trequartista, they both are very creative in their own respects. With Van Bommel, Prince and a box to box mid we will have good cover in the mid.

Montolivo could play in that position, though I think he would be better suited to a sort of 'free' deep lying playmaker role. Perhaps he could slot in at RCM.

Well what made me sure was Boateng's interview with Gazzetta where he said that Allegri told him his days as CAM are numbered and will take up the LCM or RCM position soon.

In all honesty I want Cassano as the Trequartista, even if that means playing a more defensive minded mid.
