Interviewed during Peruvian TV broadcast Enemigos Publicos, Fiorentina international winger Juan Manuel Vargas, asked about the chance for him to join Juventus, stated: "I'm on a deal with Viola, and I'm fine right there, and we'll see what it's going to happen. Rumours having me approached by Juventus are just media speculations, since at the time my agent has never told me something about such a chance". 27 years old Peruvian NT star is tracked by several important European clubs as well.
