ESPN reporting Kranjcar to be close to a Sunderland move.

I rate him highly, would be a very fine addition for the Black Cats. There could be a surprising team being in the making in Sunderland.

Will be delighted if Kranjcar joins us. We needed someone who can play on the left wing. Watched Sunderland v Spurs last season at the Stadium of light, he played really well and scored a cracker

Be a good signing but I personally cant see it happening

Spurs will want too much for him.

TBH I would rather we got another experienced striker

Think we might be getting Kranjcar on a season long loan. Would like it if we went for Bellamy as well.

146 - This is the 146th match between the two clubs, with Newcastle leading 52 wins to Sunderland’s 46. But the Black Cats have only beaten their rivals twice in 21 matches at home since 1967, with Kieran Richardson’s vicious free-kick three seasons ago bringing their only victory against the Magpies at the Stadium of Light.

Steve Bruce has said we are not going for Kranjcar. Sad
But we are looking to sign Craig Bellamy instead

I think hes lost the plot

Team he is putting out tonight is a disgrace, would of been a perfect chance to start Dong & Wickham together.

Or maybe he's concentrating on the league more? with the amount player's he bought i would of thought a top 6 finish is on Bruces agenda even though i dont think Newcastle or Sunderland have a chance of top 6 Very Happy

About the players Bruce seem's to be targeting maybe shown by a possibility that the american owner( name escapes me) is'nt willing to splash much more cash considering you have brought in 10 players already.

Just my thoughts.

It is obvious we have problems upfront with our strikers, Ji & Wickham need game time, hence yesterdays game being a perfect opportunity to get them playing. Instead we started with no strikers playing Sess out of position.

We aint deluded, no 1 has even suggested we are close to a top 6 finish. Yes we have brought allot of players in this season, but just as many have left.

The players we have brought in have hardly used up the money we got for Henderson, Bruces net spend isnt actually that bad because it has been heavily supplemented by player sales. Short has shown no suggestion he is not willing to put any more money in. that's just a jawdee pipe dream.

I did'nt mean long term i meant for this window Thumbs up maybe he feels 10 players is enough irrelevant of how much they cost.

Also about the pipe-dream i could'nt care less i was just sharing my views Thumbs up

Sounds like it could be a busy few days

Bruce has admitted we are lacking upfront and are currently in talks for a number of players Bruce sounds hopeful of signing.

We tried to get Helmes on loan apparently but he has rejected the offer.

I think Kranjcar will be one, with spurs getting Adebayor and maybe 1 or 2 other players maybe they will need to free up some funds.

Hopefully they can sort something out with Helmes, or even that Papis Cisse.

:/ We made a bid for a Arsenal player in the past couple of days. We expected it to be Chamakh again.

But there is allot of talk on the SMB from so called ITKs the player is actually pink boots and we are in advanced discussions.

We have bid 8m for Cisse but Freiburg want 12m for him.
Kranjcar is a top quality player and would be delighted if he signed for us.

I rate Bendtner as well, would like to see him get a starting role chance in another Premier League team.

Anyway, one goal in four games this season for Sunderland, I wasn't expecting that. Hopefully they'll put a few past Chelsea after the int. break.
