Hilario
Bosingwa - Ivanovic - Terry - Cole
Ramires - Mikel - Lampard
Anelka - Torres - Mata

Bench: Turnbull - Luiz - Alex - Mireles - Maluda - sturridge - lakaku

if no injuries

- Sub Anelka for sturridge 65 min
- Sub Lampard for Mireles 65 min
- Sub Maluda for Mata 75 min or Luiz 4 ivanonvic or lakaku 4 Torres

- This is torres's last chance to preform confused or else drogba becomes permanent striker and lakaku as sub

What has Drogba done this season to give him right of way over Torres? Until one of them starts banging them in then neither have a case for one being better than the other. As I showed in a few threads down it is purely down to Torres not getting the service he requires.

Cech should start aswell as Luiz over Ivanovic, I'm sick of our CBs looking ordinary against sub-par strikers.

Sturridge will hopefully start over Anelka.

drogba defends and tries to score
sturridge wont get a start yet
cech wont be risked this week
and Luiz has a large head to brain ratio so he wont be starting yet + Ivanovics is the best CB we have and terry wont get droped

Well i've watched every game so far and he has been as ineffective as Torres(much much less so in the Stoke game) so I see no reason to justify a place over him.

Thus why I said hopefully Razz

Cech with one arm is better than Hilarious, almost cost cost us the game against Norwich...

What? Luiz is miles better than Ivan at CB, Ivan and Terry have been struggling with the likes of Grant Holt etc Evil or Very Mad Luiz also needs a decent slab of time before Manu where i'd hope we'd start him so he can rape Rooney + Hernandez again.

Luiz is much more entertaining to watch but his decision making is poor, u probably don't realize coz terry always saves his ass.

Drogba hasn't really had a chance and when in form is much better than torres at his best

I think this should be torres last chance to preform with mata know its possible. but im sick of waiting and i dont want him to embarrass us against manutd. Drogba's is a better option against utd with there young backline so unless Torres plays well against Sunderland....

Cech
Bosingwa - Alex - Terry - Cole
Mikel
Ramires - McEachran
Sturridge - Torres - Mata

IMO, Sturridge should start, I think he will. I am hopeful of josh but it is more likely we will see Lampard there with Meireles coming on as a sub. Alex over Ivanovic, not sure why though.

Cech

Monobrow Ivan JT Cash

Ramires Obi Raul -(it will be Lamps though)

Sturridge Torres Mata

- Can't see Josh getting much game time any time soon, hope AVB surprises me though and I wanna see Oriol get some action too along with Luiz.

Drogba isn't available for selection. Did you not see his well publicized head injury in our last game lol?

I'd drop Ramires and would have dropped Torres as Anelka played well when he came on last week but I'd like to see how he fares with Sturridge and Mata beside him.

We need someone who's able to dominate and dictate play in midfield + able to provide quick and incisive balls into our players who operate best in the final third and I'd be shocked if AVB still can't see this.

It's the main reason our build-up play is so slow and lethargic.

Would also drop Bane/Alex for David Luiz to inject a bit of pace/guile into the backline but I'm not sure if he's fit enough to be starting yet. Would reinstate Cech back into the team as well now that he's fit.

Cech
Bosingwa Ivanovic/Luiz JT Cole
Mikel
Meireles/Josh Lampard
Sturridge Torres Mata

BENCH: Hilario;Alex, Luiz/Ivanovic; Meireles/Josh, Ramires; Malouda, Anelka

This + Ramires, might not be the most technical player but is ALWAYS lively and hardworking in defense and in attack. lol'd at missing the head injury Razz

Razz true, was surprised to see Raul in holding mid but he actually played quite well I thought. Pretty annoyed Anelka missed that 1v1 Neutral also failed to hit the target a few times when I thought he could've done better.
