I'd Keep him nd Ranger, release Kuqi..and probs go for Bendt, or Zamora...depends on how you wanna play
Jog on son Ameobi is better than Vidal and Sanchez combined, hes brave like.
Kuqi has been released and as far as i know Ranger is staying.
We want a quick cf, with gd off the ball movement and decent finisher rumours linking us with anyone over 25 are also bs, its just not in our transfer policy.
We will sign a CF and LB but quite frankly i dont have a clue who atm until tomorrow, well having said that i have no idea who the CF is but the LB look's likely to be PSV LB Erik Pieters.
As i said there will be more news on both fronts tomorrow.

Yep.
been waiting this day for a long time, so the crushing blow it could have been has been lessened some what.
Sign the lad from PSV as his replacement, striker and keep Barton and ill be geniuinely optimistic going into the new season again

Pieters is a solid player but as his age would suggest he can be a bit naive defensively. Big hopes for him though.

Been told he's a talented LB who can play CB which tells me he know's what he's doing defensively and he's first choice for Holland.
Must be pretty decent or am i assuming too much?

Re: Newcastle United FC
He's got a bright future and he's already been capped. Should be a good addition for you assuming the deal goes through. Not sure I'd want him at CB to be honest.
As I said though, sometimes his youth does shine through but that's true for just about every young player.

Surprised the speculation of you being interested in Bendtner hasn't been mentioned

To be frank i think its no more than media rubbish....
It's common knowledge we have been after a striker with good off the movement, pacy and decent finishing to compliment Ba's strength, height and power.
So unless something at the club has drastically changed sinced we were knocked back for Erding i doubt we are actually after Bendtner.
With that said i think Bendtner's a good player and with a run of games i think he could show his worth and would certainly with happy with such a player coming in.

Re: Newcastle United FC
āIt is how we set the tone. And the message has to change.ā āThe fans are used to bad news and players leaving ā this is something we have to correct.ā
āThe only way we can correct it is by success.ā āWe will get a striker and left-back over the line, 100%.ā
āThat will be before the window shuts. We will chase those targets.ā āWe think we have signed well in the summer. I look forward to seeing that group.ā
āBut I think our fans will see new players on the pitch on Saturday that will impress. I had to rebuild at West Ham, because of contract disputes, Reading and Southampton.ā
āI am well rehearsed in making sure the mixture is right. It is not complete yet, but by August 31 it will be.ā
I hope that is the case i really do.

BS i would know about it
Seriously though i highly doubt that is true, my twitter would be flashing like the red light district if it was.
Plus i highly doubt Valencia would pay his current wages he would have to take a massive cut to join them and i doubt that would happen.
All in all this is just a shitty bs rumour as far as iam concerned.
I dont find it amazing how one bs rumour from a crappy source makes everyone on twitter go crazy and act like its official.

Based off one rumour from Argentina, i think its bs tbh, especially considering Coloccini's wages and there is no way in hell he will be sold for the price they are talking about.
5million euro's for our captain and the fact he has 2 and half years left on his contract.
Give me a f*cking break.
This is the original source.......

How the f*ck is that reliable enough to be taken seriously, Marca are more reliable than that ffs

Re: Newcastle United FC
This is Newcastle remember
you are letting Barton go for free
I see Xisco has also departed on loan again.
Cant see you ever getting him out of the contract he has.

Fair point.... Barton is staying by the looks of it now but still a fair point....
It's just bs reports with no foundation pisses me off also the timing of it all smacks of trying distract the club and the player from the opening game against Arsenal tomorrow.
Btw if anyone wishes to provide this thread with transfer news please provide reliable sources for now on

I think he will but with Barton,Gutierrez,Marveaux and Obertan we have quite alot of depth there now so anythings possible but i personally think he will start yes.

Some good news at last......
Sources in Holland claim that the move could be resolved by the end of the weekend and Alan Pardew had told the Chronicle on Friday he was hopeful of getting a new left-back in time for next weekend's clash at Sunderland.
The Dutch side had asked for more time to consider the approach for the defender.
But Rutten said from Eindhoven today: "I would lie in the road to stop him leaving but I fear I cannot block his transfer to Newcastle
