Newcastle Vs Arsenal
Saturday 21st March: 15:00 BST
St James Park
Moving on
We all talked about the Monaco game and we all know where we stand as a club. Not much to say on that regard. What I do want to say is that there is no point dwelling on the what ifs. This goes for the players and the fans equally.
We are in a fight for the CL spot and the FA Cup. This season can still be a success and it should be a success. 1 point from City who are 2nd while the Semi Final against reading beckons. We need to move on to those things and see where we stand at the end of the season.
Newcastle are in a poor patch and have been for some time. Our greatest worry will be fatigue because we played two physical matches and the Monaco game was quite difficult in terms of fitness. I guess we will see rotation but our players are all good enough to get something from the game. That something being a win.
Team News
No one got injured and no one is coming back.
Possible Arsenal Team
-------------------------------------Ospina-----------------------------------
Chambers------------Gabriel----------------Koscielny---------------Gibbs
-------------------------Ramsey--------Coquelin---------------------------
Walcott-------------------------Ozil-------------------------------Cazorla
----------------------------Giroud-------------------------------------------
don't care what is going on with Walcott's contract situation. He is being paid and he needs to play and actually perform to his standard. Sanchez needs a rest.

Mostly what you said RG, nothing else to add but hope that the lads get the win.

I hate playing away to Newcastle as much as I hate playing away to Stoke. Always a tough game.
But in current form I fancy us over them easily.

Frantic, that's not even a fair comparison.
Goblin-town is in no way half as bad as Mordor.

Arsenal team:
Ospina; Chambers, Gabriel, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin; Welbeck, Ramsey, Cazorla, Alexis; Giroud
Subs: Szczesny, Mertesacker, Gibbs, Bellerin, Flamini, Rosicky, Walcott
Ozil misses out through illness. Alexis starts despite Wenger admitting he needs a rest. Meanwhile, Walcott remains on the bench.

You will score 4 by half time

We have two defenders playing and one of them is a RB playing at CB lol.

Re: Newcastle United Vs Arsenal
Chambers ISNT a right back.
His lateral movement is too slow. Playing him there is like playing Mert out wide. He gets skinned alive every time.
He can either be a CB, or a DM.

Re: Newcastle United Vs Arsenal
Well he was a RB when we bought him. He's developing more into a CB, which is good cause we have no depth there.
Debuchy back after international break, so there's some positive news.

Re: Newcastle United Vs Arsenal
We were knackered tbf. Only had enough energy for 45 minutes of intensity. 2nd half was purely luck lol.
Anyways 3 points.
Missed Ozil a lot.

I've really gotta start putting money on my predictions
I pretty much called that to a tee. Even when I said Newcastle pretty much always give Arsenal a game.
