I expect Krasic to be somewhere around the 30 mark... He did very well last season.

Re: goal.com's top 50 players of the season
Alonso 49?
Playing as the most important player for most goal scored team,UCL semis,Copa winners, liga 2nd ,and being selected as top 3 CMs in la liga placed in 49?
ah,good old goal.com

Re: goal.com's top 50 players of the season
They are anti-Real Madrid too.
Until Madrid starts winning everything again. Then SUDDENLY.
Their ratings always make me cry, especially since a lot of people probably read them and will trust their opinions. They have some sort of standard template with grades for every player I think, and only swap around the numbers of more visible players in the match (i.e. Alonso ALWAYS gets a 6.5/7 which is too low; Ramos always 6-6.5; Ronaldo either a 5 or a 9 etc.)
Retards.

Re: goal.com's top 50 players of the season
Well I didn't say Ramos rating was too low, he is replacable imo, but it is quite striking that they ALWAYS give him the same rating. ALWAYS.

Re: goal.com's top 50 players of the season
Ramos could have a great game, no mistakes, clean sheet plus an assist and still get a 6.5. Solely based on his reputation on being, well, Ramos...

Re: goal.com's top 50 players of the season
I always thought Ramos is overated but he kinda astonished me with his World cup performance imo,was the best RB by far.
Re: goal.com's top 50 players of the season
Mark my words.
1.Messi
2.Ronaldo
3.Xavi
4.Iniesta.
Goal.com jump onto the bandwagon of whatever team is currently winning and don't take into account amazing players playing for less successfull clubs.

For Milan I expect Silva and Ibra to be on the list. Putting Abate will be a crime, you cannot compare him to mere mortals.

I actually meant that Valdes was ranked too low, lol. Both of them. Valdes was numbers wise most succesful goalie of Europe I think?

Messi, I agree with. Although he didn't do much for his country. Ronaldo, alot of goals. Didn't turn up much in the big games.
Xavi and Iniesta always get glory. Players who play for clubs that aren't world class yet carry their team should be ahead of 2 midfielders who rarely need to defend whilst playing for the current best club in the world.
Nani, top assister in a much tougher league.
RVP, injured yet scored a goal a game in the prem league, much harder than in la liga.
Di Natale, top scorer in Serie A carried his team with Sanchez from relegation battle to champions league qualifiers.
Tevez, Joint top scorer in the EPL. And more I will list later.
Players who carry their team should be rated higher than player playing for Barca/Madrid because they have much tougher tasks.
Not denying how good the Barca players are it's just that their lives are made much easier with a bunch of world class players around them. And especially goal.com who bend over in the ratings and give Barca players 8.0 or above just for keeping some possesion against Malaga.
