Looks like we'll face Inter early on yet again. We won't have to wait too long for the derby with Lazio, which is on matchday 7. And our toughest runs will be between matchdays 7 through 10 and 13 through 16 (Lazio, Palermo, Genoa, Milan and then Udinese, Fiorentina, Juventus, Napoli).

Re: Roma 2011-2012 Serie A Fixtures
We have a decent start to the season, aside from the early test against Inter. It'll give Enrique the chance to get the team settled into the new season. If we get, say, 7 points out of 12 between matchdays 7 and 10 (record of 2-1-1), I think we'll be ok. If we get less, then instability will follow and people will get inpatient that's for sure.

I think the start of the season will be crucial, hopefully we dont stumble against Bologna and Cagliari. If we win those matches I could see us going into Milan and coming back with AT LEAST 1 point.
I dont mean to sound too pessimistic but Im not very confindent we can reach the top 3, of course the windows still open so I cant really judge now but it will be tough this year.

Re: Roma 2011-2012 Serie A Fixtures
We have proven over the past few seasons despite having such a low budget that we still can mix it with the bigger boys in Serie a ..Our problem's are the Catania's and Bologna's teams we should be killing ...Just look at last season for example 2 up against Bologna at home and we end up drawing 2-2 ...Another one,we beat Udinese 2-1 away then went and lost to Palermo at home and Catania away, that's not good enough...Thats why we're not in the Champs lge this season ...
We must learn to be more clinical and ruthless in front of goal for example when we do get a 2 goal lead don't sit back and defend go for no 3 and if we get 3 go for 4 and so on.That's why I'm really looking forward to the new season with LE with his attacking style,I hope to see us killing the smaller teams if we do that i will be very confident of us getting a champs lge spot...

Re: Roma 2011-2012 Serie A Fixtures
Well you're going to get what you ask for, Fonz...you're gonna get it in spades.
The more we commit in attack, the more vulnerable we'll be defensively and likely to concede goals.
Enrique's style is completely committed to attacking and possession. If it works as I hope it does, we won't have to worry about conceding sloppy goals because of a lack of numbers coming back.
