pleasantly surprised by the quality in this game... it's still in balance, will definitely watch the 2nd leg as well.

Napoli remind me of a more mature Brighton. They rely on intensity and controlled chaos rather than offensive sets and schemes. Of course i might be wrong since it's just one game, and they definitely missed what is a big part of their attack in Osimhen. Hopefully he is back for the 2nd leg.

Khvicha easily the best player on the field. He's a natural, glides with the ball. Zelinski is also nice and tidy. Think he could do the Xhaka role for us.

Leao seems to be a poor man's Mbappe and Kolo Muani.

Very satisfied with this win for Pioli fixed things up right around the first leg of Spurs where we have a clearer identity of what players perform what and the overall system.
The win does not surprise me as Euro pedigree IS real and tonight it showed against a Napoli with little of it. Napoli generally seem the side built on momentum by the week and in play for if it is broken they lack the experience in knowing what to do.

Milan should finish the second leg to their advantage but it being in the Maradona will be very tough with likely the loudest San Paolo we've ever seen and obvious nerves.

But who am I kidding we beat them without Osimen who is more than a goal-scorer for them but a vital tactical piece.
