One of the best draws we could’ve hoped for. Easy route to the QF

One of the easiest draws indeed but I am just not convinced by us on the European stage at all.
On one hand its Conte on the other hand his record in European KO stages is dire but its going to be tough seeing a team with Son, Kane and Co. possibly toy with our backline along with our still nascent inexperience at this stage combined with the nerves.
Shame that we don't have San Siro in the 2nd leg though.

Conte sucks in Europe, but Spurs are gonna park the bus. I expect them to go through.

This feels like an EL match. Should be switched with United-Barca

This match has me think of that tie v Tottenham where Crouch ended it 1-0 at the same venue for the entire tie ended 1-0.
The overruled Ibra goal at the last minute to this day I remember how much it broke my heart after I roared in pre-meditative celebration.
Need revenge for one of the most heartbreaking ties.

Poor Ramos. The only one performing in this terrible team yet his team is probably going out

I dare say we played our best game this season, which says a lot about our season
Return match will be decisive, reading and beefing with Spurs fans on insta comments is mental. These guys aren't fazed and think they got it in the bag return leg.
One of Brugge/Benfica next round please.

Re: UCL Ro16 2022/23 | Milan - Tottenham
I get why as Spurs in their stadium are quite a force. If the return leg was in San Siro I would be far more confident but I am utterly haunted by our return leg to face home opponents. Arsenal, Barça come to mind even it was an entirely different squad.
Spurs though didn't threaten at all and relinquished their opportunity to control the game and the very encouraging biased english commentators fuelled that agenda. But fact is Milan defended near perfectly and were quite unpredictable in attack but that lack of X-factor up front and Giroud being the slowest player of all time hurts any true chances we can create.
The lead means nothing to me as I hope to the Gods we dont come with a defence first mentality, defending a thin lead in an intimidating stadium.
I need us to go through to finally end that memory of that tie 10 years ago.

Relax guys, it’s Conte. Comfortable 0-0 or 0-1 imo.

Spurs and Conte thoroughly washed to lose to this Milan team tbh
still time left but I don't see it
Son seems done too, likely needs a move elsewhere

I knew we had the game in hand once Perisic was subbed out
Son..what a downfall, this is the joint top scorer of last season? Guy looks like United Kagawa
Romero is a fucking braindead idiot, that tackle was a straight red. Richarlison is another shithead with his cunty attitude, dude scored 2 goals all season.
Chapeau to Brahim, was really impressed with his movements and trickey in these ties, set Theo and Tonali on goal and had a few missed chances, he's growing on me tbh. Certainly better than a certain 100m fidget spinner.
Benfica/Inter/Napoli next please
