Arsenal are officially back
I don't want to hear anything about jinxing or reverse jynxing. We're a rational data-based community here and everything points to Arsenal being back on top.
Enjoy the success lads.

From Artbeta to Chadteta
Smart transfers, backing their manager even against fan opinion, a long term project. Well run club.

So not to cast a bit of cold water on this positivity, we are only 3 games into the season. If by Feb, Arsenal are still doing well, yeah, all kudos should be given.

While I agree with the overall sentiment of Doc's, we certainly have seen Arsenal go on good stretches before in the last few years, even under Emery's first season... so yes, let's be patient and see where they are in December onward.
But with that said... I've got to say this is by far the best start we've had to a season i don't really know how long... so that says a lot

I'm not judging them until they face big teams...last season they literally lost all of their games against big teams.

Is it time to post that old graph of Arsenal's fans emotions through the season?

Re: Arsenal are officially back
I do not think they will the league, City is a different level consistent across 38 games. There is also the question around the fact that do they have the depth to deal with injuries and once trips to Azerbaijan on Thursdays start, right now Arteta has played the same 11 in the first three games, something a lot of the top 6 have been unable to do.
I do believe a lot of Arsenal have not reached their peak, in 2 or 3 years I see them consistently challenging us and city for the top 2. Looks all good.

great point... i definitely agree. And also we are just one or two important first team injuries away from our season falling apart.
If we can get in more depth and start winning the big games as well as M99 mentioned, then only then will we have a chance to compete for the league.
But as i said we've been so down bad the last few years, that this start really is so drastically better than we've had in probably the last time we won the title lol it's crazy. 3 games is a small sample size of course, but it's in the performance, the attacking fluidity and comfortability that we won all our matches so far this season that's outstanding.

Re: Arsenal are officially back
also we won exactly the same way in preseason as well so that makes me feel a lot more better too... doesn't give me a feeling that this start is flukey.
Jesus and Zinchenko has immediately improved our team immensely in the way we play and stuff that we can execute on the field. Way more than i thought it would.
So that tells me two things:
1) Arteta definitely has an eye for detail
2) It just shows how far City are still ahead of us in player quality that two of their rejects/ex fringe players immediately bolsters our capabilities
