Yeah, he's definitely not up to Barca's calibre. At all. Fortunately for him, Barcelona is sitting pretty on top of La Liga because he would have gotten way more scrutiny if things were riding that struggle bus.

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
— Barcelona renewed Gavi's contract back in September and it was a matter of time until it becomes official.
— La Liga changed their fair play rules in November and denied the contract basically saying Barca can't renew him.
— Barca took it to court where the court deemed the contract legal and allowed for Barcelona to renew Gavi's contract.
— La Liga is trying to appeal and once again deny Gavi's new contract.

If this is not sabotaging barcathen what is, Tebas is such an out in the open Madrid fan. Lost in court so he's now trying to tweak the rules mid-game. He also just said that if mbappe or haaland ever came to La Liga it'd be to RM. Even if it's true, the head of the league shouldnt say this shit.
I cant find it now but Tebas also tried blocking Messi from signing his contract in 2004

Yeah Chavi said he played a great game but in Xavinese (or Xavspeak) this is code for "He's the first one to go in the summer",
Absolutely shocking performance, and it's his last chance to prove himself with Dembele out.

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
You’ve got to be kidding! Saying Tebas is a fan of Flo!!
Tebas is an absolute ass. He has so many issues with both our clubs! He only mentions the top two players in the world as he would like them, and others like them to play in la liga, ignoring the fact that la liga is in the mess it is, because HE can’t market la liga worth shit!
He wants to put down both our clubs yet the only reason la liga is one of the best is because of both RMad and Barca! However it is fair to say that one of the two clubs is in deep financial problems and he, in his own way, is trying to address that.
On one hand I commend Laporta for putting together a competitive team, which by the way is good news for la liga, but on the other hand, he has heavily mortgaged the future, which will eventually cost you.
I don’t think Tebas actions will have any bearing on this season, but as i said before you are in for difficulties in the next few seasons. You have said you can easily get by with 1 out, 1 in approach, however I question that as your list of those who should be out is growing! I see above, one of your suggested great signings is now according to you expendable! I remember saying to you that the signings you did last summer had better work out as you won’t be able to replace them in coming years!
And to top it off, other clubs have not forgotten the aggressive dirty approach you took in past to signings and won’t be doing you any favors. The Atleti approach to Depay will be the first of many such negotiations.

I didnt expect Raphinha to be a great signing, I was optimistic as I usually am but I had never watched him play before he joined Barca. I think we can still get a decent fee from his sale, last I heard Chelsea still remains interested in him.
The list of six players I'd gladly let go of is just to make some space in the salary structure. I think the six of them can be replaced with 3 players or 4 at most (including loanees) with adjusted salary to the new structure.
In the meantime, I guess we have to wait for the Super League to get up and running.

What a bitch Paulista is. Brazilians have an unwritten rule: always stick up for one another and this guy turns around and does that which was completely uncalled for.

Valencia is a trainwreck honestly, this is par for the course for them these days.
The recent interview with the owners is very painful to watch lol
It's mind boggling, like he's in the news every week with his bullshit, completely embarrasing the institution.

Kounde is top, and Araujo is the best CB in the world by far, but heavens above Christensen has been incredible this season. What an unexpected, unsung hero. Alba in amazing form, Balde - revelation of the season, all of this effectively means that ter Stegen is chilling and his hair after the transplant looks majestic and marvelous.

In Neymar's last 2 seasons with Barcelona (that's when they started tracking this) he was fouled a staggering 256 times and Vinicius in his last 2 full seasons 128 times.

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
And rightfully so. The abuse both physical and racial is absurd. The refs and liga are allowing it. It’s just ridiculous to the detriment of not only Vinicius and Madrid but also to la liga. Not saying Vinicius isn’t helping himself with his constant whining and occasional play acting, but the abuse he is getting, plus the social media bragging about the abuse should be unacceptable and certainly called by the refs.
The Neymar situation is certainly similar although I don’t remember the racial slurs with him!
I blame a lot of this on Tebas. He is so concerned with the smaller clubs, he not only ignores the bigger clubs, he has lost sight that the liga exists because of Madrid and Barca. The star players need protection from this abuse.

Barca in first by 8 pts and they're still obsessing about madrid and penalties. Small club mentality

Always valuable to provide additional context!
I'm not pissed that madrid got 8, by now I know that they get decisions their way from the empirical evidence Ive gathered over the years (even if they claim otherwise). But the fact that we only got one is insulting
I was riding this train back in october already

Re: EA Sports La Liga 2022/23
1. Ancelotti not leaving. Both he and Brasil denied the story today.
2. Doubt Zidane comes back after statements made when he left!
3. Xabi Alonso is on the list and will be better than Tuchel! After his Failures / Flops at both PSG and Chelsea, he deserves another EPL shot!

"Barcelona said to have paid 1.4 million euros to Technical Committee of Referees vice-president Enriquez Negreira"
This club's irrational obsession with linking their rival to wacky referee conspiracies even in seasons when they're running away with the league makes more sense now
A diversion tactic to conceal their usual monkey business.
