Icardi is not expected to join Juve. PSG wants absolutely a sale and Juve wants absolutely a loan. That was a very good short-term solution to score goals.

Overall Max is doing the right things, he is never short of tactical solutions. I missed the Napoli match so i can't disagree if you say his tactics were detrimental for this particular match. But for me it ultimately comes down to a critical lack of finishing. We play a sensible game our problem is execution.

I am not worried at all for top 4. For the scudetto, the clock is ticking. It is 11:59

Roma were on complete control of the match to reach 3-1, and then conceded three quick Juve goals to lo be 3-4. Ridiculous lack of focus, and complete failure by Mourinho in managing the game.

I have always maintained to other Romanisti that 2 goal leads are the most dangerous for us. Today proved that once again.

Roma threw away the victory away by sleeping for 7 minutes, and basically gave the victorytp Juve. They even missed a penalty to equalize.

For me, this is a point on the mentality of the team more than its quality. The Juve players fought harder and smarter despite being the second-best team for half the match.

I've watched Roma throw away leads like that to teams of all levels. We shipped 4 goals to Genoa almost a decade ago. When I realized this team could concede that many goals in such a short amount of time, I realized no lead would ever be safe. So a 2-goal lead against a subpar, but still very dangerous Juve side was always going to be tenuous.

I think what I saw today was anguish from the Roma players, but no actual anger. No ability or willingness to fight back. They stayed in "this can't be happening" mode the entire time Juve pummeled them with counters and shots on goal. And they never came out of it. That is no different than any other implosion I've seen from this team.

The only real difference? It happened to a coach that it wasn't supposed to happen to.

Mou isn't in trouble like Ranieri was back in those days. That 5-4 capitulation to Genoa cost him his job. Mou's far too high profile and holds far too much leverage with the Friedkins to be vulnerable to the sack right now. That could change in a year, but not right now.

I don't think we're stuck with him as much as he's stuck with a group players too afraid to manage leads and too shellshocked to claw their way back into matches.

Predictable match that Inter will win against Lazio.

Lazio dominated bit for 15 minutes without any end product, and then from nothing, Inter scores a goal after a 2 pass vertical move. This is disallowed for a fractional offside, but since then, Inter dominated the match eventually scoring a nice goal by Bastoni.

It has to be said that the ref allowed Inter players to commit several fouls without a single yellow, and that disrupted Lazio's rhythm.

Inter deservedly score after a period of sustained pressure. Basting is playing like a prime winger, not a bloody CB. This is some Maldini level performance in this match.

Also, ref gave a red and then took back after a car review determined he gave a second yellow to the wrong player.

Inter are going to easily win this match now, sine Lazio were completely subduedafter the 60th minute.

Excellent match sl far. Played with the proper intensity of a final.

Shame about the penalty but even with 1-1 its better than the Napoli or Roma games.
