Instead of fouling a player in the box. Slap him in the face like Bastoni did

This guy switched off at the most crucial moment. Imagine making a pass to Chiellini
1. in the box
2. with your chest
3. at 120th minute

Just mindblowing. What was the point of that?? Just head ot away and the game is over.
Alex Sandro has become more random more of a burden. Pellegrini and De Sciglio need to play every match on the left.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
We are getting dominated by Genoa in the Coppa Italia and Tomori got injured.
This competition is just a massive drain on our thin and injury-ravaged squad, hopefully we finish the match without more injuries.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
So Milan wins 3-1 against Genoa in Extra Time, so we get some tired legs and an injury to Tomori as the price of this victory. Rebic was extremely rusty, and his combination play with Giroud was lacking in comparison to Ibra. In general, Giroud doesn't combine well with any players, and only shows up in a few key moments in the match.
Also, Sheva will probably be sacked as Genoa coach, where he shouldn't have joined mid-season in the first place.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
I can't believe Robes disrespects Handanovic so much.
Magnificent save against Atalanta.
The only reason he looks bad is that he doesn't jump when goals are scored against him, but that's because he knows there is no way to catch those balls, so why bother looking good for the highlight reel.

Handanovic was pretty poor before but this season he has been good and last night particularly great.
The match was played like a 3-3 but somehow ended 0-0. Credit to Handanovic and Musso for that.

I don't think he has ever been poor. Besides some high profile mistakes, he has been extremely solid bordering on great for 10 youars now, including last year.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
A disgustingly wasteful performance from the offense, and a missed penalty. It looks like Spezia will win or tie this game. Obvious lost opportunity after Atalanta drop points in the top 4 race.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
The disgraceful league is at it again.
Ref fails to play advantage in the same move that Messiah scores a goal from. Fails to send off Gyasi despite committing four fouls while on a yellow, and then Gyasi scores at the end.
True, Spezia's goal keeper played like a prime Zoff, but that still wouldn't have been enough of the ref had a modicum of competency.
Cementing a top four slot will be more difficult after this disgraceful loss.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
I felt better when Spezia absolutely dominated us and won 2-0 early last year. Losing a match that we completely dominated because of the incarnation of Zoff and some awful refereeing mistakes is extremely frustrating.
That being said, the difference between a title-winning team and a mere contender is this. Title-winning teams absorb the bad luck matches and the wrong decisions and still manage to grind out wins. For teams like Milan, we only have a chance if all the luck is in our favor and we get no bad decisions against us. Otherwise, we won't be able to compensate.
I think the quick advance of the team and the impact of Ibra in transforming the team has tricked the fanbase into thinking this team is ready for the scudetto, when it clearly cannot cope with any downturn in luck. In fact, given the number of injuries (the most in Serie A), it's a damn testament to the team that we are still second.
The only thing making me sad is that Ibra won't get a last trophy before he retires when he is a key reason Milan are even back into top-four contention.

Re: Calcio Saga 21/22
Do you think Inter cruising the league this year slightly undermines what Conte did last year? Inzaghi is leading them to a more emphatic title win after losing two of their best players all while playing more attacking and entertaining football. Just impressive.
