DDG has been one of United's only decent performers this season, and despite the rare mistake, is probably one of the few reasons they are actually not lower in the table.

Still not back to his heights, but much improved form the last two years.

Seriously, it could be said that Chelsea buying Kepa (who I think is a good keeper exposed by Lamaprd's management) is an equally bad deal. However, Chelsea easily fixed that cheaply by buying Mendy, and they get no negative bad press from it.

Maguire isn't only a waste of money. He makes it harder for United to actually spend on fixing this position in their defense, and they can't seem to be able to bench him.

Getting sent off now might force Ole to do some much-needed defensive work on the team.

AWB showed athletic prowess, and was really defensively solid during his first few months at United. Nothing wrong in rating that. He's also young, and he looked like a talent in the rough based on his early performances. I figured if he worked on his offensive capabilities, he'd turn into a fine player. And that might still happen, but his form seems to have regressed overall.

yeah he's far too one dimensional and not super consistent at his strengths for me to rate him highly now

I agree Spencer, Maguire's nailed in, fucking embarrassment he was made captain, we ought to be trying to sell him on the cheap, I'd take any other CB in the club over him 100/100 times

Btw Reece James is such a complete RB. He can fill in three different fullback roles. If you need him to attack as a wingback he can do so. If you need him to play as a RCB he can do so. If you need him to invert and tuck into midfield he can do so.

He's fast, strong, good passing and has great crossing. England having him and Trent as RBs is insane.
