Geez lol, its really amateur stuff from Portugal defending wtf.... Again its Gosens just completely free its easy for Germany. Nobody comes close to him again. The coach has to get the blame, either u plug the hole with adjustment to the formation to back 5 or u move Semedo wider to defend him or something? Embarrassing stuff Very Happy

Seriously though, Muller and Gosens were involved directly in all four goals. Great play from Havertz as well.

However, with the ease I felt Portugal carved Germany on the counter, I am not sure about the defensive capability of the Kroos Gundogan pivot.

It makes for an exciting match, but if Germany is open to be scored against.

Never believed Fernando Santos is the right man to lead this talented portugal side. If Portugal had a great manager they would be a formidable side

Great match.

Germany back with strength. Great performance from Muller, Gosens, Havertz, and others. Portugal wasn't bad per se, but was tactically destroyed. They could have scored a goal or two.

CR also played well despite the loss. Scored, assisted, and created some chances as well.

Truly brilliant game.

What a weird game, 4 goals conceded by Portugal. Its worrying since if they lose to France than it really comes down to if they make 4 best placed 3rds to qualify? Germany beating Austria taken of course. The coach made the change at HT but Renato didnt defend Gosens, Im not even sure what he was meant to do, since later on he played all over and another player seems to be finally covering that position after the 4th goal conceded and Gosens didnt get another sniff.

Credit to Low I guess, Kimmich and Gosens just hug the side lines all game and Portugal couldnt or didnt cope, and suddenly the two teams positions are very different now. Magic of a group of death Very Happy

Low outplayed Santos has to be said. Bruno Fernandes also let Por down with a poor display there. Joao Moutinho at least ended up producing but one could say that was Low deciding to push Ger back. Credit to Havertz who really does it all tbh. The guy was everywhere in the front for Ger and Goosen oof he deserves man of the match for sure
