WHICH TEAMS WILL GO THROUGH? (CHOOSE 2, PLEASE)
Re: EURO 2020 - Group A
Kaladin wrote:RealGunner wrote:why would you renew Hakan at all? is there news?
We laid him an offer of 4m p/y since January, he isnt satisfied and initially wanted 7m claiming to be the ticking timepiece of this team. We stood by the 4m, then in turn Hakan said he would decide after the Euros, thinking his value would skyrocket and he'll receive offer from United, Atletico and Bayern. Keep in mind he was courting Bayern earlier this season, and a few weeks ago he was courting Atletico and Galatasaray.
Hope he fucks off
We should reduce our wage offer at the least.
His stock just plummeted in price

They are not moving with the same fluidity as the last two games. However, credit also to Wales which is not a pushover tea.
Normal with 8 changes to be less fluid, given that, we are still playing great. Wales is good, credit to them, but its still quite a 1 sided match in terms of chances.
Verratti is getting more comfortable.

rincon wrote:Di Lorenzo is the best RB we have imo. Better than Florenzi. Calabria would also be there if not for injury.
Di Marco could be there instead of Palmieri. Spinazzola is clearly the best LB though.
Bernardeschi clearly is not in any form that merits him bring there. Does well for Mancini, runs a ton, and plays on both sides, so he is called up. But Politano should be there instead.
actually faraoni had teremendous season in vellas as RB and also di marco. but ur right on, bernandeschi ... instead politano whom i completely forgot about should have been there for sure!
also wonder why castrovilli didnt get a call up he would have had tremendous impact against team who dont come forward.

@JespSwe
Castrovilli is called up. He took Sensi's spot. He is the last midfield choice though, so he doesn't make the bench.

oh he was ... oh ... sigh.. ok cuz he would have been lot more impactful due to his ball playing abilities and getting past players

its refreshing to see that under his absence other players has done well and he needs to get to gears full on soon too because italy will need him on advanced stage

Wales might become 3rd if the second half goes on like the first one. Goal difference matters.

I think Wales will be safe for 2nd place. Switzerland probably won't beat Turkey by more than two goals and I doubt our players put the effort in to win by 3 goals.

I'd say Bernardeschi is playing well. Better than Chiesa so far.

He got it, right call from the ref. I'm very content with the level of refereeing in this tournament, no BS calls.

Re: EURO 2020 - Group A
That's a bit harsh for me. I saw no intent there from the Wales player though it was definitely studs up so I see why the ref gave it.
Unfortunately, it likely won't be clear and obvious to nothing VAR can do about that.
Bad luck for Wales.

I also think the red was a bit on the soft side but he could've broken his ankle. They're all professionals playing at the highest level, should know the rules by now.
