In my bracket i got Portugal 3rd, they advance, and make it to the semis lol

They'd beat Netherlands imo

I have em winning the whole thing but like they might actually be eliminated here if France wins and it honestly is a real possibility. Unless Ronaldo goes ham mode and we hear the oh so famous "Siiiiuuum"

Regarding penalties, i used to have a complex points system which gave me a headache every time, instead i simplify

Use my post as example
Correct result = the team who advance
Correct score after 120 min is worth 2 pts

Wales 0-1 Denmark = 0 pts
Wales 1-0 Denmark = 2 pts
Wales 1-1 Denmark (DEN on pen) = 2 pts
Wales 1-1 Denmark (WAL on pen) = 4 pts
Wales 2-2 Denmark (WAL on pen) = 2 pts
Wales 2-2 Denmark (DEN on pen) = 0 pts

... well it still gives me a headache tbh What a Face

Ugh scratch Sorry, how does the points go to 4 to then 0 and dropping when changing the team taking the pen. At first' Den take the penalty first, but on the 2-2 Wales take the penalty first? And from 1-1 it instantly become 2-2 without being 2-1 or 1-2. Sorry I couldn't get it Razz

Not sure to understand the question. It does not matter who takes the penalty first.

In case of a draw after 120 min:
- 2 pts for whoever predicted the winner
- 2 pts bonus for the exact score

Ah I see, sorry I only looked at this post and got confused afterwards. I thought you're telling us the scenarios on penalties, I mean the score of the penalty shootout  rofl

I get it now, as you predicted Wales 1-1 Denmark (WAL on pen) you'd get 4 points if that's exactly what happens. But if it's a draw with different scores or different end winner, or if Wales go through with 1 goal without going to penalty; then you won't get the 2 bonus points. Ok, all good now. Thanks, my great guy Thumbs up

A terrible day to be welsh. A stressful day to be italian. A great day to be danish. As for austrians they leave the competition with their head high. Italy's attacking trio show the world its limits, don't expect Berardi to start anymore, Chiesa instead, but definitely the other 2 need to wake up

So it's a low scoring day huh. Anyway I wonder, why you guys keep on backing Denmark's opponent? They've played really well since the Belgium game. But anyway, it's very understandable if you pick their opponent in the quarter finals Laughing

Think we all dont think too highly of Denmarks attack but at this point theyve forced me to eat humble pie with Russia and Wales. They have a really hard bite. Probs my worse day so far too as far as predictions go. Portugal gonna have to go through the worse route to take it this time. Every match ahead is gonna be an elite team. Will be epic if they take it tho.

Portugal vs Belgium: 2-1
Czechia vs Netherlands: 1-3

Nobody believed in Czech. I missed the match so the result is a total surprise to me, i saw De Ligt's mistake it was not pretty, he'll grow from it. I thought Czech were only good against Scotland before that. Portugal is out after dominating Belgium in second half, leaves us with a highly uncertain Italy-Belgium, tough call
