I really wanted to draft Scottie Barnes but thought he would be available even later in the draft than he was, and ended up taking NAW first. Choosing NAW over Scottie Barnes has easily been the biggest mistake of the year for me. What a gem.

At least I picked up Bobby Portis the pick after

Yeah, Warrior already did, when I saw you pick him up I was like ahh sh!t, my only hope was he'd miss 3's. I had no 3 point shooters Sun night out. It was close hopefully next time our teams aren't injured I've barely got to test my team with what I'm aiming for with all these missed games and injuries Laughing

I've watched us in preseason, I'm assuming maybe Warrior did too? I was going to grab him to, but a little later Laughing

He was going to get a lot of game time anyways and puts up great numbers.

Barnes is so good IRL it does not translate in fantasy on a regular basis yet. He defends like a veteran and his offensive game is more efficient each week. Mid range shot = bucket every time

I saw him in preseason and i trust Raptors management when it comes to evaluate talent. But to say i was gonna reach would be a lie. He was just the most interesting player in my queue at this point of the draft.

You know what hurts me the most ?

Losing against Capela whom i had every year and my favorite hab of all time. You rejected fair deals to keep him but is totally useless in your team. And would be at his right place in mine. What you need is more a Graham or a Josh Hart imo, i'd trade uncle Clint to me asap if i was you.

Warrior is there anything in particular you'd like for Gafford?

I feel like Connaughton for Gafford was a pretty fair trade. Connaughton is rolling this season. Offers points boards 3's steals and decent percentages with low TO's. I thought it was a decent trade but perhaps not what you're looking for

Connaughton is fine but he's the type of player i'd use as streamer i won't lock a spot in my team for him, even less so once DiVincenzo is active.

Gafford seems a bit too up and down with his numbers though, no? the potential is there, thought he would have his breakout year hence drafting him, but he can't lock down any sort of dominance as a centre as of yet.

I watched a fair bit of Gafford when he was in Chicago, the guy can jump, but has zero skill outside of the paint. I'm checking out his stats right now and fuck me, he still hasn't taken a single three-point-shot? 2.0 blocks in 21 minutes of game time this season is super impressive, though. He's a rim protector and a lob threat, but gonna be out of the league the moment his athleticism goes.

Gafford and Zubac i use them to soften my FG% and lock rebounds but i don't find them reliable for shot blocking

What Art describes of Gafford is true, the rim protecting skill is there but he cannot give a lot of minutes because of low stamina and foul trouble
