Reports from England and Italy that tevez and branca were photographed together in Sardinia
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/manchester-city/8653848/Manchester-City-striker-Carlos-Tevez-fuels-Inter-Milan-reports-after-encounter-with-coach-Marco-Branca.html
"Speculation that Manchester City striker Carloz Tévez might move to Italy this summer intensified on Thursday night when he was photographed at his holiday hotel in Sardinia talking to Marco Branca, the head of technical staff at Inter Milan.
The Serie A club, who last month denied that they wanted to sign the Argentine striker, have lurked in the background throughout the proposed £40million transfer to Brazilian club Corinthians that collapsed earlier this week. Now it appears Inter might step up their interest.
Branca is believed to be staying at the same hotel as Tévez in the resort of Porto Cervo on the Italian island.
A City official admitted: “We have been made aware of what appears to be a picture of Carlos Tévez and Marco Branca,” although manager Roberto Mancini revealed that lines of communication are currently down with the player.
Mancini had been anxious to hold discussions with Tévez, who had maintained all along that his desire to leave was because he wanted to be closer to his two children who live in Argentina with his estranged wife.
To accommodate that desire, City dropped their asking price — he would cost at least £10million more if he were to be sold to a European club.
Yet when asked if he had talked with the player, Mancini responded: “No. His telephone doesn’t work.”
Mancini’s comment was an attempt to make light of the situation, however he insisted there was still a place at the Etihad Stadium for Tévez, who was last year’s joint-top scorer in the Premier League.
The manager stressed: “At the moment Carlos is still a City player. In future we will see what happens and as for the captaincy, we have three or four players who can do that job [if necessary]. For now it is not a problem for us. But for us, Carlos is an important player.
“Carlos wants to leave for his family. It is only because of this the club have accepted to sell him.”
Tévez is understood to have made no contact with anybody at the club that pays him £200,000 per week.
Mancini steadfastly maintains that he expects him back to work in just over a week but nobody, last night, was able to guarantee his return and City appear to be working accordingly.
Mancini, who is pursuing Sergio Agüero of Atlético Madrid and Arsenal’s Samir Nasri, revealed he wants at least one more arrival as he sets his sights next season on the Premier League title and Champions League.
“We need to work for another week, 10 days. We have two or three targets but it depends. The kind of players we want, other top clubs also want them. But we are a few players short of competition.
“So I hope we will have more and that they will be in place for the Manchester United game [Community Shield on August 7].”
City are growing increasingly confident that transactions with Atlético will be concluded successfully sooner rather than later for the 23-year-old Agüero, who has scored 74 goals in 175 appearances for the La Liga club.
Things are somewhat more tense regarding Nasri, especially as Arsène Wenger criticised Mancini over his modus operandi while the Arsenal manager fights so hard to keep his French playmaker.
What is clear is that the small photograph in the hands of sections of the Italian media suggests more trouble ahead on the Tévez front.
As City’s players relaxed in preparation for Sunday’s World Football Challenge with David Beckham’s LA Galaxy at the Home Depot Center, club officials from the blue half of Manchester had not heard a word from their striker, or for that matter, from Inter Milan."
Don't know if this is a reliable source or not but I thought I'd post it anyway
