very talented midfielder and impressive for a 17 year old, way more rounded than Risky Pig even though 4 years younger imo

Different players imo. Puig should ideally start deeper, Pedri is closer to the box.
Pedri has a good touch, and good awareness. Still waiting to see more of him before making the judgment though

this is a 17-year-old kid and he is playing in CL away from home in a big ground with so much command. I read somewhere he completed 39 successful passes out of 41 and most of them were in the Juventus half. He also had four successful dribbles.

He took Cuadrado out for a walk ffs so much confidence and skill at 17 and he can score too if given the chance.

He is not a little Pedro. Pedro was an average talent who made the maximum of his abilities. Good player but nothing more.
Pedri on the other hand is a generational talent. Imo, he is an Iniesta/Thiago level talent. No comparison.

It takes just 1 half of watching Pedri. Don't need a whole career to realize that Pedri is an elite talent and levels above Rafinha who is a journeyman jobber.

Yes, this game he really showed he has a lot of potential, a very clever player who reminds me of the old no.10s and AMs. If him and Fati continue to develop they definitely should be our future starters...

we should build the new team around this guy, has been the only standout performer alongside Messi this season especially after Ansu and Dembele were sidelined.

Monster of a talent. Created at least 5 chances today and should have had at least a couple of assists. Elite technique, elite passing, elite decision making and a terrific defender. Needs to work on his finishing.

On a serious note this kid is so intelligent. He's been my personal MOTM in so many games this season. This backheel is not a coincidence, he's been consistently doing this every game. Has that touch and awareness of Iniesta no kidding.

This kid is something else. Plays with the maturity of a veteran. I thought FDJ was going to be the standout midfielder of the decade. Pedri will give him stiff competition. And we have both of them.
