With regard to the game, we look good physically imo and that’s a good thing. Zidane’s lineup is fked up though. modric kroos in the pivot behind Odegaard as a #10 is light as hell, especially with modric in his current shape

Casemiro and Valverde should be main fixtures in the first #11, Odegaard in for Kroos when he doesn’t play as the third man in attack. Modric and Isco should make only sporadic appearances. I’m looking forward to seeing Odegaard behind Jovic tbh - he’d be a much better fit tactically because he’s an actual box player

and Vinicius is a must. our only forward capable of attacking at pace and getting past players through dribbling

I'd rather Vini out on the wing. He is very good 1v1/1v2 but we aren't getting much from the other side. So having Rodrygo or Carvajal abit further in would do us alot of good. We need to get Odegaard on the ball more and he needs to stop choosing the easiest pass. It's the daring passes we need from him or there won't be any difference between him or any other midfielder

we’ve got Kubo for that RW spot but he’s 2 seasons away from

When Vini is on the ball, the opposition has to double team him... only way to contain him...

Rodrygo can shoot and pass. They both are able to do what the other isn’t. It’s ridiculous to have such high expectations for 19 year olds in what is essentially a pre season game

Well a terrible second half. We just ran out of steam. Looked like we were content with the draw. I suppose this is essentially a preseason game so I'll overlook this draw

Vini is in his 3rd year at the club if its true that we will go mbappe next summer then he is done.

But the line up wasn't ideal. We needed Valverde in there to drive the ball forward

The whole team dropped in the second half. But Vini still created our two best chances. One that Benz fluffed and one that Marvin messed.

Our whole team were sluggish in the second half and it was evident that we had nothing left in the tank by then. Should have gone for it at the start instead of being content with players passing the ball from side to side

playing modric kroos benzema and rodrygo all together makes our team so lethargic

we can’t play more than 2 of this kind of players at the same time

for the next game
