Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
And here I am just glad McKennie showed out with the time he got today. Good header.

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
For half an hour, there was the Milan of the Gattuso days. A lot of good moves to get the ball in offensive positions, and then piss-poor decision making (Diaz, Salamander, and Rebic being the price culprits today). We are lucky we got a stupid handball penalty to save the half. Hopefully, we don't blow it in the second half.
Funny things this match is that Calabria showed both his transformed and old self in the same match. He created two chances, but had multiple poor crosses as well.

How's Diaz doing at Milan please? I see he's starting so that's a good sign I guess. I hope he's developing nicely.

overall he is doing well B+ ; and to tbf he has been more of taking makeshift roles in the front trident playing LW, AM, RW depending on needs.
quality player no question but his decision making and finishing needs polishing. If ur asking this game against sampdoria though, dreadful.... lost almost all ball on possession, dreadful passing and finishing. dunno who has been bad this first half him or rebic...

i was thinking the same, just stupid decision making on final third by all those 3 but rebic or diaz gets the prize. i was like guys, ur right infront of gk u got past everyone, just slam the ball .... slam the ball towards gk face if u have to... but no two of them even got tangled themselves rebic and diaz on who to take a shot.
i mean is pioli out of his f.. kin mind??? hauge is the best player in form atm.... instead he moves diaz to LW
calabria though atm arguably the best player ... alongside gabbia. donnarumma too..
we are incredibly lucky indeed to be in front because of that jankto handball..
if win is on agenda then pioli need to ask these front three not to overthink or overdo things

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
also quagliarella and gabbiadini ... sigh.. these two clearly got a plan to get kessie sent off ; falling off their asses with minimal touch

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
It's funny how we went from the team who refused to use wingers to now stockpiling them.
From Carlo's Milan to Allegri. Although with Allegri we had a brief stint with SES, Balo, and Niang. The guys after him tried forcing Suso/Honda/Bonaventura on the wings, who were all slow attacking midfielders.
Now we have Rebic, Leao, Hauge, Diaz, Saele, Castillejo, and Maldini is looking to add Thauvin too. None of them are world-class, but just having players who can run with the ball, and run behind the defense with pace makes a world of a difference.

Re: Calcio Saga 20/21
sigh.... another free opportunity missed, dunno if this is hakan or rebic but hakan didnt have power on his pass enough set for rebic free, rebic got with his pace, tonelli just catches him just enough to clear it out

thauvin is different... his goal scoring : assist ratio is unbelievable! every game either goal or assist ; we need thauvin in there for sure

The way this match is evolving, normally i would say the trouble is coming and a goal awaits. But Samp seems completely inept deep in your zone. If Milan keeps playing this way they might even get another breakaway chance.

Shocking defense in that goal, the guy in front of Hauge and the defender that fell in front of Rebic
